Story
This is a courtesy post for HSHV. This is a great dog for the right person! Hi, everyone, my name is Clover. I tend to become overwhelmed easily, and the shelter environment is, well, rather overwhelming. So I'm looking to be rescued ASAP by a patient and understanding human; someone who's prepared (with a pocketful of snacks, ideally) to help me keep my cool when I'm venturing outside my comfort zone. I'm a fun-loving dog who loves to play chase, so a home with cats wouldn't be a good fit for my exuberant personality. If you've got the skills to read both my subtle and not so subtle body language, I'd love for you to be my guiding light. Being a 1-year-old German shepherd, it goes without saying that I have an overabundance of energy as well as a brilliant mind. If you're a human with an active lifestyle, I want in on it. I'm talking hikes, fetch, puzzles. I'd even be open to some agility training once I get to know you a little better. Please teach me to channel my energy away from fear and towards fun! Since I'm a sensitive girl, I'd do best in a single family home without dogs and adults only. Remember, adoption is not just about finding a pet; it's about changing a life. Are you craving a new chapter? Me too! Take a chance on this pup, and you'll be rewarded with a transformation beyond your wildest dreams.

Story
Say hello to Nuna! This girl is as sweet as she is beautiful, and she is so excited to meet you. Nuna is looking for a family that loves to run and play as much as she does. She likes playing with all types of toys, especially ones that make noise. Nuna is a very food-motivated girl who loves to learn new things, she already knows "sit" and she can't wait to learn more with you. Nuna would also enjoy fun, mentally enriching games such as puzzle feeders, find-it toys, and snuffle mats to help keep her mind as active as her body. When she's not learning something new or going for a walk in the park, Nuna loves to snuggle up on the couch next to her family and catch some much-needed zzzz's. When meeting dogs here at the shelter Nuna was excited to make doggie friends but tended to be a little nervous. We recommend she meet dogs in the home before adoption to make sure they are the right match for one another. She would do best with a playful and polite dog who can show her the ropes and respect her boundaries. Does Nuna sound like the girl for you? Come in and meet her today!Nuna's ideal home:- recommend meeting dogs

Story
Kayo is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. He loves all humans, especially kids. He is a big cuddle bug. He also likes to be active and go on long walks or jogs. he was adopted from the Humane Society and did really well adapting to his new home. He does really well with other dogs. He just can be a little overbearing. He has not been around cats. He is on an allergy medication to calm his itching given once a day. Ideally, he would thrive with active owners who can give him attention. He’s house trained. He is 9 years old but has great energy and can be mellow when he needs to be. He is an amazing companion.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. We are the celebrity singers litter.  We are a big family of singers.  We are a family of 7 GIRLS and only 2 Boys!! (Girls Rule and boys Drool).   We will be big dogs as we are German Shepherds. Our Mom and dad look just like us.  We were born on Feb 19th and recently had to move into a boarding facility while we find our forever families. The nice people at the boarding facility play with us all the time and we just love it. We especially like to play outside and roll around in the grass.   Sometimes at night when all the nice people go home, I dream of a family of my own. I want to spoil my human with lots of love and kisses. Could you be the one?   HDDCR requires a spay/neuter contract by the adopter if puppies and kittens in our care are too young for sterilization. This is a form the adopter signs at the time of adoption, confirming that they will get the pet spayed/neutered by a certain date. We will hold a $50 deposit on top of the adoption fee until we receive proof from a veterinarian that the dog was spayed/neutered. The $50 deposit will then be returned to the adopter.&#226&#128&#139 Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a    $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee    to change information.   Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost.
