Story
Ted is 8 years old (birthday 10/15/15) and is a dopey sweet guy. He is a littermate and has never been separated from his sister, Robin. My husband and I adopted both as tiny puppies and have loved them ever since. We are looking to rehome them together because they are so very connected and love each other so much. He is so chill and loves to cuddle but only for short periods and would never stay in bed for a whole night. He is so gentle with our kids and all of our nieces and nephews, giving unlimited kisses. I had cancer about four years ago and since have less energy for myself and them and we know that they deserve more interaction and activity which I no longer have the energy for. We moved a couple of years ago and no longer have a fenced in backyard for them to run in which we really want for them again. They do not do well off leash unless fenced in because they do like to go off on adventures together. We hope to find someone to give them a great rest of their lives.

Story
This is a courtesy post for HSHV. This is a great dog for the right person! Hi, everyone, my name is Clover. I tend to become overwhelmed easily, and the shelter environment is, well, rather overwhelming. So I'm looking to be rescued ASAP by a patient and understanding human; someone who's prepared (with a pocketful of snacks, ideally) to help me keep my cool when I'm venturing outside my comfort zone. I'm a fun-loving dog who loves to play chase, so a home with cats wouldn't be a good fit for my exuberant personality. If you've got the skills to read both my subtle and not so subtle body language, I'd love for you to be my guiding light. Being a 1-year-old German shepherd, it goes without saying that I have an overabundance of energy as well as a brilliant mind. If you're a human with an active lifestyle, I want in on it. I'm talking hikes, fetch, puzzles. I'd even be open to some agility training once I get to know you a little better. Please teach me to channel my energy away from fear and towards fun! Since I'm a sensitive girl, I'd do best in a single family home without dogs and adults only. Remember, adoption is not just about finding a pet; it's about changing a life. Are you craving a new chapter? Me too! Take a chance on this pup, and you'll be rewarded with a transformation beyond your wildest dreams.

Meet Mr. Spock *** Playful & Sweet *** >>> You're gonna want to Beam this guy Up! Meet Mr. Spock! This young, handsome boy is traveling the galaxy searching for a family. Spock is our lovable and playful puppy who is ready to find his forever home! This spunky boy is a 7 month old shepherd mix. He weighs about 40 pounds. He was rescued from a shelter, nearly emaciated and starving for affection though his resilience was apparent almost immediately. Spock's breed is likely half Shepherd and half "EARS" (LOL). With his striking looks and friendly demeanor, this little boy will surely steal your heart. He has beautiful eyes, a soft coat, and those adorable big ears that make him stand out from the crowd. Spock is an absolute sweetheart who loves to play fetch with tennis balls or stuffed animals. After spending all his energy playing outside, he enjoys cuddling on the couch with his human friends for some much-needed rest and affection. He's incredibly social and thrives on attention from people around him. Adopting Spock means giving this resilient pup a chance at a happy and healthy life filled with love, playtime, and endless adventures. Don't miss out on the opportunity to welcome this incredible little dog into your home! >>> I have been...and always shall be... your friend. Live long...and prosper. This dog is crate trained, housetrained, neutered, vaccinated, de-wormed, heart worm negative, on flea and heart worm preventative, and micro-chipped. This dog will REQUIRE A PHYSICALLY FENCED YARD. No apartments or condos for this dog please. Spock's adoption fee is $200.00 (cash or credit card) HOW TO MEET: This sweetheart may be at the Livonia PetSmart on Saturdays from 11-3. Shamira is a 9 year old purebred German Shepherd dog. She is very friendly, and loves attention. She is obedience trained (knows all her commands in english and german). Crate trained. She has a cyst near the rear of her back, our vet doesn't know what it is, however it will be too costly for us to have it removed and sent for pathology. She has a sweet disposition, loves head and chest scratches.

Story
Air Force is a gorgeous 2 year old shepherd mix who weighs 65 lbs. He is energetic and loves to play. He will even play ball with himself! Air Force gets along with dogs. Because of his high energy level the best match would be another dog who loves to play. He enjoys laying with cats but does on occasion chase them. He is housebroken and crate trained. Air Force has never lived with children, so would be best in a home with adults or teenagers. Please apply at poetanimalrescue.org if you are interested in providing an active, loving, forever home to this beautiful boy.
