Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Rocky is an almost 3 year old purebred GSD who has lived with his brother from the same litter all his life. He gets along well with his brother but I’m not sure how well he will get along with other dogs. He has been raised with children (older) and gets along well with them as well and loves to play with toys and tennis balls. He knows how to sit for treats and will take them gently as well, when you remind him to. Looking for someone with experience with GSD’s who can give them the time, love, and attention they deserve.

Good with kids, Not good with dogs, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
He was found wandering the streets and no one claimed after 2 weeks (vet had estimated him to be about 3 months old). He had giardia and worms and was very under weight. He has since been doing great, up to date on all vaccinations and was recently neutered. We have had him for about 6 months. He’s a really smart dog with tons of energy. He is very loyal to his owners and adapted quickly to new owners (us) and friends that have watched him. Loves fetch, chew toys, jogging, and games. He is not great with other dogs. He has been good with our kids (9, 6, 4), and is good with people when introduced to first. Probably good for families with kids 5+ (not that he’s bad with young kids just that his energy can bump younger ones around). He could use some manners training ie jumping when excited and pulling when walking. Knows: sit, stay, lay down, go potty, leave it, come, no, drop it

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Sasha is a german shepherd, husky mix. If you know these breeds, you know she is full of energy, so she would need daily exercise. She does great on a leash whether it is for a walk, hike, or a long distance run and travels in a car very well. She would absolutely need a fenced in yard that is no less than 6 feet as she easily clears four feet.  Sasha is very affectionate and just wants to be loved. She easily bonded with the adults in the house. She has bonded with our children, as well but it took her some time. She would do best with children who understand how to read the cues of a dog asking for space, so probably eight or older. She has become very protective of our family but still responds well to visitors in and out of our home. She does fantastic with our senior dog but should not be in a home with any smaller animals. Sasha is very responsive to correction and is eager to please. She learns quickly but still needs some training. She does best with a routine where she knows what to expect. She gets severe anxiety in her kennel, but if she's left out she will counter surf and get into things. It would be best for Sasha to be with someone who is home more than they are gone.  She will take some work and patience but she will be so worth your time!  Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue microchips all dogs and cats before adoption. Microchips are implanted between the shoulder blades and are another form of identification should the animal get lost. The microchips are registered to    Happy Days Dog and Cat Rescue. The adopter's information is added once the adoption is complete. The adopter is responsible for a $19.99/Year registration fee or a $45.00/Lifetime registration fee to change information.    Dogs and Cats still need to have collar with tags should they get lost. Story
Say hello to Nuna! This girl is as sweet as she is beautiful, and she is so excited to meet you. Nuna is looking for a family that loves to run and play as much as she does. She likes playing with all types of toys, especially ones that make noise. Nuna is a very food-motivated girl who loves to learn new things, she already knows "sit" and she can't wait to learn more with you. Nuna would also enjoy fun, mentally enriching games such as puzzle feeders, find-it toys, and snuffle mats to help keep her mind as active as her body. When she's not learning something new or going for a walk in the park, Nuna loves to snuggle up on the couch next to her family and catch some much-needed zzzz's. When meeting dogs here at the shelter Nuna was excited to make doggie friends but tended to be a little nervous. We recommend she meet dogs in the home before adoption to make sure they are the right match for one another. She would do best with a playful and polite dog who can show her the ropes and respect her boundaries. Does Nuna sound like the girl for you? Come in and meet her today!Nuna's ideal home:- recommend meeting dogs

Story
Charlie is a 2-year-old German Shepherd. He is housebroken, very social with humans and likes to play and cuddle, he is also a great guarding dog. Unfortunately, due to change in lifestyle, I am unable to give him the same attention as before. Charlie is used to go on 20 mins walks twice a day, and a 15 mins playtime inside the house, the rest of the day he is either napping, playing with his toys, or protecting the house from squirls. I am looking for someone who is a previous dog owner, familiar with the breed, have enough time and energy for said activities. Additional information will be available when contacted, and please be ready to answer few questions about your lifestyle. Charlie is well loved in his current home and I am only willing to give him up to the right person.

Story
Hey my name is Lexi! I am a good dog looking for an active owner willing to offer proper training, socialization, and exercise. I've been told that I'm the life of the party! Sometimes my love for good times can overwhelm others so I'd like to meet any potential dog siblings so I can make sure our vibes match. My energy may not be suitable for young children. I have A LOT of energy, and may be a bit too much for some families! However, a lot of energy also means a lot of LOVE! With time, training, and patience- I will try my hardest to be a great dog for you and your family!
