Story
Hello! This handsome fellow is named Balto, he is approximately 3 years old. He is a high energy dog that needs a lot of attention, he has a big personality and loves pets. He is house trained and gets a long with anyone and anything. He does she’d a lot so keeping up on grooming is a need. Only reason I am re-homing is because I don’t have enough time to burn his energy.

Story
Meet Coal, this guy just turned 1, weighs around 60 pounds, and is a German Shepherd mix (best guess) looking for his forever. Cole is super active, LOVES to run, and enjoys being outside. He also LOVES food and is super smart- training him is super easy! He is crate-trained, fully potty trained, does well leading the way on a leash and listens very well. Coal will do best in an active home and really loves other dogs to play with, he does still play like a rough and young pup, so another dog willing to play like a big dog would be best. Coal has shown he does well with cats and the kiddos in his neighborhood at his foster home. He has been described as "Coal is a dog that needs an energetic on the go person. He is active and smart. Shows no signs of aggression towards cats/humans but will pout if he doesn't get what he wants. A strong leader would be good as he is always ready to follow and learn." If your home would be the perfect match for this handsome and smart guy- follow the link below for the needed ADOPTION APPLICATION. **PLEASE NOTE: Applicants must live within an hour radius of Toledo, Ohio. *Coal is neutered, microchipped, current on shots, and on monthly preventatives for heartworm/fleas. *His adoption fee is $200.00 *Visit the link below to complete the needed ADOPTION APPLICATION to help Cole find his forever home. Story
Stella is a young girl fresh out of puppy stage, smart, athletic, and goofy. She is crate trained and some obedience trained. I have come to realization I work to much and am not giving her the best life possible. Shes a beautiful girl who is naturally guarding of the house of strangers but extremely dog friendly. She might do extremely well in a multiple dog home. She’s very docile and doesn’t care about being dominant or not. I do also have three cats that she’s okay with but doesn’t always respect their boundaries but has never hurt any small animal or my small child. She doesn’t love care rides and gets motion sickness. I am asking a rehoming fee just to make sure she’s appropriately cared for by her new family. I’ll also add more pictures down the road.

Story
Suzie Q is a gorgeous shepherd / husky or kelpie (best guess) mix who just loves to be with people. She is good with other dogs as well. Cats and kids unknown. We are guessing she will be medium / large when full grown. She will be ready to go to her forever home after February 20th, she is current on vaccinations, preventions, spayed and chipped. Due to breed characters a physically fenced yard is required and breed experience preferred. She is very smart and food motivated and may make a great dog for agility, flyball or similar programs.Suzie Q is located in middle TN, but not to worry her transport is included in the adoption fee with Rescue Riders Transport to one of their delivery locations. We are happy to set up a virtual meet and greet with any approved application. Please contact us for more information or an adoption application.

Story
Good With Kids: Older kids Good With Other Dogs: *Females same size ideal Good With Cats: No Housetrained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Walks Nicely On A Leash: Yes Knows Basic Commands: Workin’ on it Energy Level (Couch Potato, Moderate or High): Go Go Go Special Needs: N/A Physical Fence: Preferred Favorite Toy / Activity: Loves fetch and squeaky toys Arrival story: Came to Waggin’ Tails from Detroit Animal Control in the summer of 2023. Approximate age / Weight: 1 yr old and 50 lbs. Personality: Arnold is a happy, energetic boy who arrived with an injury that required hip replacement surgery. He dealt with that like a champ and is ready to live life to the fullest. True to his breed, Arnold thrives on physical activity. He enjoys long walks, vigorous play sessions and likely would love to participate in dog sports. While he hasn’t charmed the male dogs (huskies) in his foster home, he hangs out with the lady dogs and respects their boundaries and corrections. We do not think Arnold is a good candidate for daycare or dog parks. New Home: Arnold is adaptable and would likely fit it to different home environments as long as his physical and mental stimulation needs are met. He is really looking for humans to appreciate his go-go-go personality. He will accept the challenge of keeping up with an active pet parent. Contact: Please contact wtdr@waggintailsdogrescue.org with any questions or submit adoption application via our website www.waggintailsdogrescue.org/adoption-application. ADOPTION INFO: We do not have a facility; all of our dogs are fostered in private homes. To meet a dog in person, please see our event calendar on our website for the date and time of the next adoption event.
