Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.July 21, 2024, 7:11 pm

Story
Everyone wants the dog to be saved but no one wants to adopt the dog Stormy is one of our several adoptables who escaped timestamp at ACCT Philly. She has been waiting six months for someone to come along and apply to meet her. We are fingers crossed it’s out there soon!  This lovely girl was surrendered to the open intake shelter in Philadelphia with a terrible injury to her eye.  Her injury was more than the veterinary staff at the shelter could handle or properly treat so she was quickly timestamped. We saw her and knew she deserved a second chance. After getting her to foster and one of our vet partners, sadly her eye could not be saved and successfully removed. Since she had no vision in the damaged eye removing it has not altered her life in anyway!  Stormy is an approx 3 year old Husky/Shep mix.  Some of Stormy’s favorite things are belly rubs, cuddles, getting brushed and going on car rides. She walks beautifully on leash, takes treats very gently and has shown no signs of resource guarding while in our care. She knows many basic commands, which comes in very handy when she sees squirrels and bunnies and follows the leave it command beautifully! Stormy uses a heavy duty crate to keep her safe when her foster isn’t home and does well. She doesn’t love being home alone for super long periods of time but has continued to improve. She absolutely loves all humans, both tiny and adult Stormy gets so excited when she meets other doggies. Her play style can be a little over the top, so a dog who can keep up with her play will be needed if any dogs reside in the home. Due to her prey drive, no small dogs or cats for this sweet girl To adopt Stormy: https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NARP/Dog &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137&#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191&#225&#181&#137&#203&#161 &#203&#161&#226&#129&#177&#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137&#226&#129&#191&#203&#162&#225&#181&#137:  ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188 &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163 ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129&#202&#183&#225&#182&#156&#202&#176&#203&#161&#225&#181&#131&#226&#129&#191&#225&#181&#136, &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172 ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176  &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176   &#225&#180&#183&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191&#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#137&#203&#161   &#203&#161 &#226&#129&#177 &#225&#182&#156&#225&#181&#137 &#226&#129&#191 &#203&#162&#225&#181&#137 :    ¹&#226&#129&#182¹&#226&#129&#176&#226&#129&#181 &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#188   &#225&#180&#174&#225&#181&#146&#203&#163  ³&#226&#129&#176¹ &#225&#181&#129 &#202&#183 &#225&#182&#156 &#202&#176 &#203&#161&#225&#181&#131 &#226&#129&#191 &#225&#181&#136 ,  &#225&#180&#190&#225&#180&#172  ¹&#226&#129&#185&#226&#129&#180&#226&#129&#184&#226&#129&#176 July 24, 2024, 5:21 pm

Story
Koda is a 6-year-old German Shepherd originally rescued in Yokosuka, Japan when he was just 1 yr old. He is from a family of police dogs, but did not undergo formal training due to abandonment. He has completed basic obedience and is a very loving boy. He is looking for a best friend who will be his companion for the rest of his life. We have had Koda for over 5 years now and never thought we would be in a position to have to rehome, but life threw a curve ball at us and we know Koda deserves better than what we can give him now. Koda suffers from separation anxiety, but we are hoping the right person will ease this transition for him. His next owner may feel he needs further formal behavioral training to fix his reactivity. It is imperative to us that he does not get rehomed again after this, so we are urging anyone interested to please reconsider if you have young children, a small breed dog, a geriatric animal, or cats (Koda does not know his size and can play rough).

Story
Kiara is the sweetest dog you’ll ever meet. Shy with strangers at first, once she warms up to you all she wants is love and attention. She is dog reactive, and has a high prey drive. She has a lot of work put into her dog-reactiveness, to the point she can do no contact pack walks, and can be in a house around (certain) other dogs under supervision, however she cannot be unsupervised with other dogs (hence the reason for rehoming). She is super trick-smart, but does have dumb dumb moments (like running into things, rebounding, and continuing on her way). She’s VERY potty-trained (rings the bells, will nudge and bark if you’re not getting it). Crate trained (will scream at first then will settle), and is used to eating in her crate. We’ll send most of her stuff with her (custom stocking, leash, collar, slow-feed bowl, etc), we just want her to go to a home where she’ll be loved, especially since she’s been through several homes already. I’m happy to answer any questions, and provide pic
