Story
Hi there, I'm Kamala! I am a vivacious pup looking for my furever home. I am old enough that I have outgrown my puppy behaviors but not too old for adventures and playtime. I am very social with people and enjoy getting lots of attention and affection. However, I am not a big fan of children so I ask that any kids in the home be 13 and older. I may do well with another dog with proper introduction. I'm not sure how I feel about cats but I'm also willing to give it a try. I hope that I can find my family who will cherish me and give me the life I so deserve. I will certainly give back all the love, loyalty, and companionship I have to share. Do you think I could be the one for you?---If you are interested in adopting, please come prepared --bring a photo ID, proof of address, and everyone in the home including resident dogs with vaccination history. Story
Hello, I'm Randall! I am a big, beautiful shepherd with a heart as pure as my gorgeous white fur. I am a social butterfly and enjoy lots of attention and affection from people. I love being pet and going for walks to explore the world around me. I may do well with another dog and/or cat with proper introduction too. I sometimes get a little rowdy with my snuggling, and would do best in a home where any children are 5 and older. I am just a wonderful pup and I deserve a happy home. Story
Meet Spock, a German Shepard Mix about a year old! Spock was pulled from one of our shelter partners after being found as a stray running the streets of Harrisburg City. He has been in his foster home since October due to being severely malnourished when he came into care. When he arrived in care, he walked flat footed and his back feet splayed into the Vulcan position, hence his name. Spock has made up for a lot of lost time in his foster home and he is still very much puppy in his energy level. He loves to be with people and is happy to curl up on the couch as long as he has been given some playtime. Spock has been living with 4 other large breed dogs, both male and female, and cats. He has also completed a basic obedience class. Spock has done well around dogs both big and small, but due to his rapidly growing size he would be best in a home with a dog that matches his size. Spock can be a very rough player and would love a home with a playmate that can match his energy level. Spock loves going for car rides, loves to play with toys, but can be destructive with stuffies. Spock is crate trained and takes a few minutes to settle in his crate as he very much does not like to be left behind. However, within minutes of the door shutting he will stop crying. Be prepared though to be met with the typical German Shepard vocalization when you come home because Spock has a way of making sure you know how much he missed you. Spock is also house trained although regression can be expected in a new home. Spock would love a big fenced in yard to run around in but could do well without a fence as long as he has plenty of exercise. He has done well with kids, but has not been around a lot of little kids. He can still be excitable and often shows that puppy jumping and nipping when he gets really excited. Due to his early malnourishment his foster mother worked heavily to avoid issues with resource guarding with food, so Spock is used to eating in his crate. He is great with people, but in new situations may show caution with other dogs trying to steal his food. Spock has been neutered and UTD on all vaccines. At this time, he has no known medical conditions, but is continuing to fill out. He is currently almost 80lbs. Spock is ready to find his furever home to "live long and prosper with." If he sounds like someone you could love furever, please fill out the attached application. He is located in Lancaster, PA and would need a meet and greet with any other dogs that would be in his home! Reminders: - You can only have ONE application on file at a time - We cannot respond to all messages and emails, please be patient - we are a rescue run 100% by volunteers - You must live within 3 hours of Lancaster/Berks and be willing to travel for a meet Kennel License #9117 PO Box 2372 Reading , PA 19608

Story
Hello, my name is Maggie! I am a 6-month-old, golden shepherd. I found myself with my foster family, when I was surrendered because my last family was not able to provide me with what I needed. My foster mom tells me, I am a very sweet and energetic girl who deserves so much love! I love to play with other dogs both big and small. I enjoy being outside, playing fetch and taking a good walk. I am an active girl, but I do still love a good snuggle and nap. I love to sleep in my crate at night and am almost completely potty trained. I love to be with my people and am eager to please. I am up to date on vaccines, microchipped and spayed. If you think my sweetness is what you are looking for, please apply at www.zoeshouserescue.com. Story
Hey there it's me Ursula and I am looking for a home. I came in as a stray and have no background history, but here are some things you should know about me. I am a dog that will need a patient and understanding adopter who is willing to give me the time and space if needed. I am very nervous girl who will avoid and or give clear signs when uncomfortable so taking things slow is KEY as I eventually do warm up. I enjoy other dogs company as long as they are low-key dogs and a home that is on the quiet side. I would do best with older kids who would understand and know when I am uncomfortable. If you are willing to give me a chance I am sure I can come around very quickly. Come by and or call and ask about me. I will be waiting Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 73.375 Age: 6yrs 2mths 0wks
