MEET NICKEL Nickel is an 8 month old shepard mix rescued near the Semiahmoo resort near Bellingham WA. He and his brother Dime, along with their mom Penny and her brand new litter of 11, were rescued and brought into the care of Happy Tails fosters around the end of April. Nickel is a sweet and loveable goofball who aims to please and loves pets. He is very food motivated and has been a joy to train. He is great with other dogs and will continue to learn how to behave and live with cats. He is easy to correct and will be a great dog to train and grow with. Nickel has been an off leash roam around free dog for most of his life but has quickly adapted well to living in a home and getting better and better on the leash. Nickel would do well in a loving home environment with an owner or family that has the time and capacity to train him and help him continue to grow into a great dog. His mom was a shepherd mix around 40 pounds and so he should be a great family size dog. Huntzy is a 4 year old beautiful German shepherd with so much unlocked potential.Due to unfortunate circumstances, he has not been properly trained and is not socialized. He can show anxiety mixed with aggression-usually when owner is present. He would be best with one individual in a quiet home, with someone who can devote lots of time for exercise and training. He is a smart boy and with right person will be the perfect dog.
