MEET NICKEL Nickel is an 8 month old shepard mix rescued near the Semiahmoo resort near Bellingham WA. He and his brother Dime, along with their mom Penny and her brand new litter of 11, were rescued and brought into the care of Happy Tails fosters around the end of April. Nickel is a sweet and loveable goofball who aims to please and loves pets. He is very food motivated and has been a joy to train. He is great with other dogs and will continue to learn how to behave and live with cats. He is easy to correct and will be a great dog to train and grow with. Nickel has been an off leash roam around free dog for most of his life but has quickly adapted well to living in a home and getting better and better on the leash. Nickel would do well in a loving home environment with an owner or family that has the time and capacity to train him and help him continue to grow into a great dog. His mom was a shepherd mix around 40 pounds and so he should be a great family size dog. **Fostered in Marysville, WA and ready for meet & greets!** With his handsome upright ears, deep loving eyes that melt your heart, and the cutest brindle markings on his legs, Tank is a true stunner! But he’s not just all good looks, he’s also intelligent, gentle, social, and affectionate. He is great with kids, cats, and dogs, making him an easy fit for just about any family. The first thing you will notice about Tank, after his mesmerizing good looks, is how incredibly sweet and affectionate he is. Since the day he was born, he has been shown lots of love and affection, making him a very lovable and social pup. He is a true social butterfly who loves meeting new people and going out in public to check out new places. A true adventurer, Tank is easy on the leash and great in the car. He loves to go for road trips, running errands, going to dog-friendly restaurants and stores, or anywhere else you want to take your new best friend. He would make an excellent hiking and camping buddy! Playful and fun, Tank loves to have a good time. He’s not a high energy pup though. He can run and play with the best of them, but is also happy to cuddle up on the couch or his doggy bed and take a nice long snooze. While we can't predict the future with certainty, we estimate this delightful canine will tip the scales at a robust 70-80 pounds once fully grown. Meet Oobie! He is a 3 year old GSD mix, around 65 lbs . Oobie is a very polite boy indoors and loves other dogs. He doesn’t jump all over people or furniture and already knows sit and down! He can be protective of his people in the home so would do best with a homebody or someone who lives on land, he would not enjoy the city lifestyle.
