Sophie is a shy female shepherd that came in with another, older shepherd. She takes her cues from the other dog. She does not appear to be leash trained and is not eager to be away from the dog she came in with. We will be working on her confidence. She will be looking for someone that understands the intelligence of the German Shepherd breed and is willing to take the time needed to bring this dog into a balanced place. She is sweet when approached calmly.

Sasha is a well-behaved dog. She is easy to leash up and walks well on the leash. She enjoys being outside and active. She is friendly and outgoing. She can be vocal so being left outside would not be ideal. She does know a few commands but will benefit from secondary training.

Miss Cordelia is a very calm, quiet lady. She is well-educated and gentle. She walks well on a leash, knows sit and stay, and is just a generally good girl. She is reserved, so she may need patience for bonding. Once bonded, she will be staunchly loyal.

This shy dog is learning to come out of his shell. He is sweet once he feels comfortable. We are told that he is a Shepherd Lab mix. He will likely be a big boy when he is finished growing. He is learning to walk on a leash, to sit and eventually to stay. He will benefit from puppy classes to build his confidence. He gets along with other dogs.

Mabel is a staff favorite and a very special girl! Mabel came to us as a stray back in June and has stolen everyone's heart. We can't be sure what her life before us looked like but we know she was let down by someone who was supposed to love and care for her. Just look at her big brown eyes; we can't imagine how anyone wouldn't want her love! And she gives it freely; Mabel might take a little to warm up but once she does she is very trusting and will follow you anywhere. Mabel has been fostered with young children, dogs, and cats. She loves playing with her canine friends and cuddling on the couch with humans of all ages! Cats, you ask? Well, that almost looks like something out of a cartoon! This gentle girl is not aggressive with her feline housemates, but we know she would be her best self in a home without cats - she is a GSD after all! Do you like to hike? She is a dream on a leash in any setting and is extremely attentive to her handler. She likes treats and takes them so gently, but isn't super motivated by them; she would rather just have your affection! Liam is best described as a huggable goofball! I mean seriously, this guy wants to hug every person that he meets. He would be a great bestfriend who would always cheer you up when you are having a hard day. It's hard not to laugh at his goofy antics! Liam like to play with other dogs too! He really loves to play! Liam is looking for an active home. He loves playing in the water and riding in cars and sticking his head out the window! My foster dad spends a lot of time with me every day and will love to talk to you about me if you are interested. How cute is Gomer!! We think he may be a german shepherd but with rescue it is always a bit of a mystery! Gomer is playful and sweet. He loves to play with other dogs and his toys and then cuddle up for a nap. Hee is still a pup so he will need a patient family that is ready for training, socialization and all of the hard stuff that comes with owning a young puppy. However, he will make up for it with a bunch of kisses! His new family will have to work with her on potty training, crate training, and basic commands.  As he gets older, we anticipate he will be a moderate energy dog and will likely require physical and mental exercise daily.
