Story
Bongo is a 1-year-old Husky/German Shepherd mix who we rescued from a shelter in August when he was still a puppy. Since then he has grown into a very energetic, curious, and playful dog with a big personality. He’s very smart and loves being around people, playing, and exploring. Bongo has a lot of energy and would do best in a home where he can get plenty of exercise, attention, and mental stimulation. A home with a yard or an active owner who enjoys walks, playtime, and outdoor activities would be ideal for him. He is a sweet, loving dog and deserves a home where his energy and intelligence can really shine. We are looking for a home that can give him the time, space, and activity he needs to live a happy and fulfilling life.

Story
He is an absolutely amazing pup, and I sadly have to rehome him due to not being able to find time to care for him properly due to military work obligations. He is clever, very, very playful, and loves to take naps next to people. Still needs some work for potty training but is pretty well versed otherwise.

Meet Skyya 💛 Skyya is a beautiful 2-year-old Shepherd mix with a heart as big as her smile. This sweet girl is the total package — gentle, loving, and ready to find her forever family. Skyya is wonderfully dog social and enjoys making new canine friends. Whether it’s a playful romp in the yard or a calm walk with a buddy, she has great manners and knows how to read the room. She would thrive in a home with another friendly dog or as your one-and-only with regular playdates. She’s also house trained, making the transition into her new home nice and smooth. Skyya has a gentle nature that makes her a joy to be around. She’s the kind of dog who will happily curl up beside you after a nice walk, soaking up affection and giving it right back. With her Shepherd smarts and loyal personality, Skyya is eager to bond deeply with her people. She’s past the puppy chaos but still young enough for adventures, hikes, and learning new tricks together. If you’re looking for a sweet, steady, and loving companion to share your life with, Skyya might just be your perfect match. 🐾

Story
Loyal heart, working brainGunner is everything you’d expect from a young shepherd — intelligent, alert, deeply loyal, and always paying attention. At just a year and a half old, he’s in that sweet spot where he still has playful, goofy energy but is starting to mature into a steady, devoted companion. He forms strong bonds with his people and thrives when he has clear structure and purpose. Gunner isn’t just a dog who exists in your home — he wants to be part of your world. Whether that’s hiking, training sessions, long walks, or simply hanging out nearby keeping watch, he’s happiest when he has a job (even if that job is “professional best friend”).Typical shepherd traits you’ll see in Gunner: • Highly intelligent and quick to learn • Loyal to his core • Naturally protective without being over the top • Attuned to his environment and his humans • Athletic and eager to moveAt this age, consistency and leadership will help him continue to grow into a confident, well-balanced adult. He would thrive with someone who appreciates the shepherd mindset — mental stimulation, physical activity, and partnership.Gunner isn’t just looking for a house. He’s looking for his person. And when he finds them? He’ll be all in.

Story
Born in June 2020, Dexter suffered a severe break in his leg and had to spend much of his youth on restricted activity so it would heal. He is fully healthy now, and his leg made a full recovery. Dex is great on leash, loves his walks, and bonds strongly with his humans. In typical GSD fashion, he likes to have something to do, so having a home with people who are around and will include him in adventures and outings is preferred. He is full of energy and has lots of love to give. Dexter has gone through great training, he is easy to walk on leash, he listens well, and enjoys learning new behaviors and games through training. He especially loves playing with his toys. His favorite playtime activities are fetch and tug and showing off his toys by playing on his own. Dexter benefits from longs walks and hikes where he can sniff and explore. Dexter’s favorite past time is chilling on his bed with a Kong or bully stick. A securely fenced yard, no kids or cats is required for Dexter’s home. Visit our website to fill out an Adoption Application http://www.wagsequimwa.com If you have any questions, please email: office@wagsequimwa.com. Most of our dogs require a fully fenced yard, this does depend on the individual dogs needs and safety requirements. Adoption donation fee up to $350 (Please understand this adoption donation goes towards helping all the dogs we rescue) November 10, 2025, 7:38 pm
