5 yr old German Shepherd female (owner died) This is Remi, her daddy died in November and I need to find her a new home. She needs a job or to stay busy. She has a lot of energy. She isn't spayed I already have 2 dogs and cant keep her. She is great with people and very sweet. She wasn't socialized a lot with other dogs. She guards the the backyard great. She lives with 2 male dogs at the moment. She doesn't seem to like other female dogs and that probably because she's not spayed. I'm asking $200 which is negotiable to the right home. Please contact me with any questions.

FIRST STEPS: Please visit https://www.save-a-mutt.org/adoption-application/ to fill out an application - a Petfinder Inquiry is not the adoption process. We don't do meet and greets until applications have been approved. All our dogs are located IN Washington State - we are a local foster based rescue and no transport from another state required. :) Thanks! --- Meet the Yellowstone litter! These are some beautiful puppies - and DNA came back as a fun mix of Shepherd / Bully / Golden Retriever and more. They are some big puppies. At about 10 weeks old, they tipped the scale at 15-17#. Fatties for sure who love their food. :) The entire litter is very social and all about people. They are currently in foster, and are ready to learn all things puppy - crate training, collars and leashes and more. Summer is so beautiful - with her frosted face. She's the smallest in the litter and toys are her world. The tiny bit of husky in their DNA has given her that look, but it's the retriever side of her that makes her almost always have a toy in her mouth. She's so silly. This puppy is spayed, microchipped and vaccinated to appropriate age when they go home. They will need more puppy shots at 12 weeks, and at 16 weeks. Puppies are good with dogs, cats, kids and more. Being a puppy, they will need lots of training, including housebreaking. Remember, puppies are cute, but they have sharp teeth, need to be fed 3 times a day and poop... a lot! The 3-3-3 rule is a guideline for transitioning a rescue dog into its new home and helping it to settle in. It suggests that the first three days should be used for adjusting to its new surroundings, the next three weeks for training and bonding, and the first three months for continued socialization and training. Each dog goes home with a goody bag including collar/leash, toys, chews, Kong, and more. You will receive all medical records, microchip transfer form and other paperwork at the time of adoption. Save-A-Mutt may require a training contract and refundable deposit (depending on previous dog experience). You must be willing to start socializing and training as soon vaccinations are completed at 16 weeks. You pick a trainer in your area, and upon completion of a 6+ week training class, we will refund the deposit. Adoptions typically take place in Stanwood. We don’t hold puppies, adoption applications may be approved in just a few days depending on how quickly references respond. If you are planning on a vacation or have an issue that may delay your ability to pick up your puppy within a few days of approval, please let us know in advance. Adoption fee is $525. Save-A-Mutt is a registered 501c3 and half of your adoption fee may be tax deductible. Save-A-Mutt is a foster based rescue, we do not have a facility to visit. Our adoptions are typically done Monday - Saturday, we are closed on Sunday’s to give our volunteers at least one day off. You must be available to do meets and adoptions during that time frame. We can make exceptions only with the approval of the foster home. Please note, we have approximately a 300 mile adoption radius - Portland OR area and Vancouver BC is the farthest north. We don’t ship dogs, once approved you must pick them up in Snohomish County, WA. Canadian adopters must be able to come to Stanwood WA to pick up your puppy.

At about 10 weeks old, they tipped the scale at 14-16#. Fatties for sure who love their food. :) The entire litter is very social and all about people. They are currently in foster, and are ready to learn all things puppy - crate training, collars and leashes and more. Tate is such a sweet boy. He's the biggest beefy puppy in the litter and we love his white stripe on nose and forehead. Tate is such a cuddle bug, mornings are spent with him on his back getting lots of belly rubs. He loves people and the lovins' they bring. This puppy is neutered, microchipped and vaccinated to appropriate age when they go home. They will need more puppy shots at 12 weeks, and at 16 weeks.
