Story
My son took on Luna and her sister Io. None of us had any idea about "litter mate syndrome" or the instinctive rivalry between female German Shepard's. Luna is a kind, loving and silly dog. She is very playful and loves to play goalie with the soccer ball. She is a rugged chewer but isn't destructive. She only chews her toys. Her favorites are split antlers and water buffalo horns. She's got a goody personality and loves her "brothers", the male dogs we own. It has become clear that her and her sister cannot live in the same house. She has never shown aggression to the other dogs or any guests in our home. We love Luna and will miss her terribly if she goes. We've had her since she was weaned, about 10 months ago. She has had regular vet care and is up to date on her shots. An ideal home for her would be a place with lots of room to run and an owner with the time and experience to keep her engaged and train her to her full potential.

Story
Sheeba is my name and I am quite the celebrity around here :) Let me tell you all about it... have a seat and grab some tea. I was living on the streets with a gang of friends... found by a rescuer we were being fed but there was no room to put all of us. Of course, I was pregnant and after I gave birth the rescuers were afraid with all the storms that my babies wouldn't survive out there. So the pound was called, and let me tell you....I WOULD HAVE PROTECTED MY PUPS WITH MY LIFE........ of course, that is deemed "aggressive" and after my two day stray hold I was going to be euthanized and my puppies sent to rescues to bottle feed and raise up :( But MY rescue said, UH UH... She comes with the pups.... and they MADE IT HAPPEN! Now, it wasn't easy but I settled in to the routine and learned my caregiver's names and soon enough I was eating out of their hands. And they learned some neat but sad things about me.... I belonged to someone who trained me....... it is sad because no one has any idea where that person is nor why I was living on the streets :( Also, I am a very smart girl so I am also very sensitive to change....but, with my pups grown and adopted, I am now a model citizen at the rescue. Look at my video....I had JUST met the trainer that day and she absolutely fell head over heels for me. Now I am ready for you, I will complete your family. I am still working on my other dog skills and would probably be best where I can be the only dog and give you all my love. I am a gorgeous girl, my coat resembles a Belgian Shepherd's and I have GSD face and mannerisms. So if you want to adopt me, you must love and understand the working breeds. We need an outlet for our drive and you have to provide that to give me a great balanced life. I am ready, I hope you are too!! Local adoption only, $200 (in TX) (or if you want to drive down to meet and take her home that is cool too :)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Meet Lola! Lola is a resilient and loving German Shepherd who’s ready to find her forever home. Born around June 1, 2023, and weighing 37 pounds, Lola’s journey has been a tough one. She was living on the streets with a homeless man and endured a battle with parvo for three days before being released to our rescue. Thanks to the care she received, Lola has made a full recovery and is thriving in her foster home. Lola is a playful and affectionate girl who enjoys the company of other dogs and loves her toys. However, she would prefer to be the only dog in her new home, where she can receive all the attention and love she craves. She is potty trained and walks beautifully on a leash, making her a well-behaved companion. Fully vetted, Lola has received a ProHeart 12 vaccine, providing heartworm prevention until June 26, 2025. Her adoption fee is $300. If you’re looking for a loyal and loving German Shepherd who’s ready to bring joy and companionship into your life, Lola might be the perfect match. Story
Sheba-Beeba, takes her job very very seriously!! She will let you know if she sees or hears anything, as a shepherd we think she has been used as as an alert dog and she really believes that is her job. Sheba is friendly and will sit and shake for you for treats, she has good manners and will let you know when she is ready to go outside, or she will just lay at your feet and wait for you to go outside too :) OR let you know that the cable guy is at the door :) Sheba came from the pound in horrible shape, she had multiple mammary masses (luckily nothing was cancerous) that were all removed. She was so so skinny and sad and close to being killed. However, one of the recently retired live release counselors from the pound actually saw her and saved her life by FOSTERING HER!! She is so thankful and will make anyone a great companion (except other dogs or other prey animals) She is a single dog home, but she is ALL you need to keep you happy, safe and loved!! Local adoption fee is $200 (in TX) Out of state adoption fee is $400 (includes transport to your area, $50 temporary fuel fee will be included)
