Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Frank Sinatra from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 1 year old male Golden Retriever - Samoyed mix.  I am approximately 57 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, and friendly.  l was saved from the Korean dog meat farm where I was due to be slaughtered.  I don’t know how I ended up there but I was so scared and I used to hear the cries from the other dogs as they were taken away.  The activists came and saved us and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will come to your home and help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $1,795 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.   A GPS tracker or Apple AirTag is required for all adopted dogs. You can bring your own when adopting or you can purchase an AirTag from us.  We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail   admin@gingerspetrescue.org   for an adoption application. Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Lady! She is a friendly, 8-year-old, 79 lb Golden Retriever/Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA in hopes of finding her forever home here in WA! Lady is a very sweet dog that walks well on leash and loves to go on adventures. Overall, she walks well on a leash, but she is a strong girl and will pull on the leash should she see something she’d like to check out. She already knows basic commands such as "sit" and "shake" and takes treats gently. Lady is very smart and a quick learner, which will make training a breeze! She would love a home with a yard where she can explore and lounge! Due to her size and strength, we are recommending kids over 10 years old. She can be dog selective, so her ideal home would be a one dog household where she can soak up all the love and attention from her people. Overall, Lady is an awesome dog with so many great qualities and would love to spend the rest of her days in a loving forever home rather than a commercial kennel. She will make a great adventure companion and wonderful addition to any lucky household. Lady is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations. Her adoption fee is $400.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Binks! He is a 1 1/2-year-old, 50lb Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is one big butterball of love! He is very sweet but is strong and can be bouncy and mouthy so he will need an adopter who is committed to working on his overall basic obedience skills with him. He is very smart, and food motivated and does well with training. He is generally well behaved, loves meeting new people and does well in a crate. He does well with other dogs, but mostly enjoys attention from his people. He loves to crawl and roll around in the grass and would love a home with a securely fenced yard where he can run, play and crawl. We are recommending no young children due to his bouncy nature right now. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Tundra! He is a fluffy 4-year-old, 71lb Golden Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix who came to us from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is big, cream-colored fluff ball of love, sweetness, and good attitude! Tundra walks well on leash and will make a great adventure companion! He is always in a happy mood, has gotten along well with other dogs in our care, and has done well with being groomed. He is a great combination of chill yet also able to get up and go. Tundra would love a home that takes him on daily walks, hikes, and other adventures, but that would also allow him to hang out on the couch with them at the end of the day. He has a lot of love to give and will make a great addition to any lucky household that adopts him. He will also make for a great family dog and is very gentle when taking treats and interacting with people. Tundra is UTD vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
It's Miller Time! Meet our Miller! Miller is a Survivor with a capital S! Sweet Miller came to us with damage to his back knees, we can't be sure exactly what happened, but we know how to make it better from here. Despite a rough start in life, Miller is a fighter and his best life is now ahead of him. Miller may always have some challenges with his back legs; however he is scheduled for double knee surgery in July. Miller will need some special care during recovery, but his love for you will make it all worthwhile. Miller will be looking for a home and family that understands his limitations are secondary to his abilities and the love he has to give. Despite his rough start, this small golden boy is playful, loving, friendly and gets along well with his new foster brother. Are you the truly special person/family to give Miller the love and home he deserves? If you are interested in Miller, please apply.

Story
Quinn is our brave and stunning light golden rescue mama! Quinn is a 5 years young golden retriever, Quinn one of the lucky ones to be rescued from a being a commercial breeder mama, now safe from having to produce litter after litter of pups! As a Amish rescue mama, she is quickly learning that life as a beloved pet is a wonderful thing! She can be startled by loud sudden and mechanical noises - because they don't have those on an Amish farm. However, she is quickly becoming used to life in a loving home, already seeking out close comfort and affection of her foster family. Quinn loves to tuck her head under your shoulder and appreciates all the scritchers! And she absolutely loves her first toy ever, her baby lamp chop stuffie. Quinn is schedued for spay soon at our Veterinarian, but can go home sooner with a contract to ensure her spay either at our vets office in Kirkland. Quinn acts young for her age, and has the smaller build of her English cream relatives, and look at her gorgeous light, mostly white coat! She is an athetic gal, a fence of minimum 5' in height will be required to adopt Quinn.
