Story
Animal Profile: Raven is a female Retriever/Great Pyrenees mix (best guess), estimated to be 7/8 months old and currently weighing 38 lbs . She and her 3 siblings were surrendered to Freer Animal Shelter and were then taken in by our rescue partner in Texas and are currently in their foster home getting ready for their trip to the PNW to find forever homes. They are good with dogs and people, and doing well with crate training. Raven is shy until she gets to know you, then is a total sweetheart, so will need someone willing to show her the world is a great place to be. Estimating she will be in the 60 to 70 lb range full grown. Due to her breed we will only be considering adoption to families with homes with secure fenced yards ( s uburban/rural environment will be best for her) . Large breed experience and a canine companion preferred. We will post more information as we get to know her in foster care. Foster Update: C oming soon! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from our partner in Texas and arriving via Paws Up Rescue on 02/19/2024 to the Seattle area. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated in foster care.March 27, 2024, 12:20 pm

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Say hello to Binks! He is a 1-year-old, 50lb Golden retriever/pit bull mix, who came to us as a stray from an overcrowded shelter in CA. He is one big butterball of energy and love! He is very sweet but is strong and can be bouncy and mouthy so he will need an adopter who is committed to working on his overall basic obedience skills with him. He is a lot of fun and will thrive in a household that can provide him the structure he needs to the best version of himself. He does well with other dogs, but mostly enjoys attention from his people. We are recommending no young children due to his bouncy nature right now. He is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450.
