Story
HI, I am Rocky, I know that’s a big name and it needs a dog with a big personality. That’s me!I am your typical Lab mix who loves being with his family. I am ready now to meet my forever family after my foster family has taken such good care of me. I live with 2 young boys and a teenager, and we all get along really well. I am what my foster mom calls sociable. I guess that means that I can get along with most people and other dogs too. Somehow though small dogs kind of bother me and I am not sure why. I love to play with my toys, and I have a favorite bone that has lights on it. It is a lot of fun. Oh and did I mention that even though I am not a vegetarian I love apples and carrots to munch on?Car rides are fun and especially if they end up at the beach. I love water, but what Lab doesn’t? If you and I could go to the beach together I would be a happy boy!I love to go for walks, but that leash thing is not my favorite, but I am learning to like it. I am learning some commands like NO, Sit and Wait to eat. But I know you would be able to teach me everything I need to be the best dog I could be. If it sounds like we could be a match for each other then just fill in the application and we will meet on a Zoom call.Lots of love to give,RockyTo get more information go to https://hope4lapawz.org/adopt and click on the dog's photo. Click the button to download the adoption application. The application is a form-fillable pdf. Fill out the form, save it to your hard drive, then email back to sian@gingerspetrescue.org Hi!  My name is Shadow from Korea and I am a wonderful approximately 18 month old  male Golden Retriever.  I weigh approximately 60 lbs. and so excited to find my new forever home.  I am very happy, affectionate, smart, and friendly.  I was saved from the Korean kill shelter where I was due to be euthanized. The activists came and saved me and I can't wait to come to America and find a family to love and care for me forever.  Approximately over a million dogs a year are slaughtered to be eaten.  I am so lucky to get a one-way ticket to Seattle to find my new family.  Take me on car rides, walks in the park, and I will become your best friend.  I get along well with people of all ages, gentle kids, and other dogs.  I will do best with a loving family that can give me lots of love, and affection!  On all overseas adoption, we highly recommend our pet rescue dog trainer who will help train your new pup for only $75.  My adoption fee of $2,500 will cover my spay/neuter, DA2PP shots, Rabies, Bordetella, Deworm, Heart Worm Test, Microchip, Boarding Fees, Health Certificate and airline transport cost from Korea to Seattle.  We cannot guarantee breed or age. The adoption fee is firm and helps save the life of another dog needing rescue and our other dogs in need of medical care.  Donations are always appreciated to help pay down our vet bills at Greenwood Vet.  Ginger's Pet Rescue is a non-profit 501C-3 organization.  Please e-mail  admin@gingerspetrescue.org  for an adoption application. Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Animal Profile: is a 2.5-year-old, 70lb spayed female Golden Retriever,  Poodle, Shepadoodle mix. Gigi was enrolled in a training program with K9 Command, and her elderly owner decided it was in Gigi's best interest to be rehomed to someone that had more time and energy to meet her needs. Foster Update: Gigi has completed a full obedience board and train. She knows many commands including: sit, down, place, heel with auto sit, come, and kennel up. Gigi's confidence has grown exponentially with her training. She can still be a little insecure around new people and environments, but once she warms up she is very loving. Gigi requires an experienced dog owner who can continue demonstrating leadership in order for her to feel confident in herself. Gigi is house trained, crate trained, and has basic obedience training. She would be best as the only pet, living in a home with children who 12 and up. Gigi is a heart-warming and loving companion and she absolutely deserves a family to call her own. Adopter Profile: Large breed experience required. No children under 12. Single pet household. Willing to continue with balanced training *We will not respond to your application if you do not meet the above requirements * Adoption Info: Gigi's adoption fee is $550, which includes spay, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip with lifetime registration, and take home training session. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. Animal History: Gigi joined the rescue when her elderly owner could no longer meet her needs. Gigi has been  vetted and trained with no expense spared in her care but needed more physical/mental stimulation to be her best self. Gigi is being fostered with Seattle K9 Command Training and is currently available for adoption.  June 10, 2023, 1:11 am
