She is also laid back and enjoys a good cuddle and chill on the couch while catching up on some TV. Angle is crate trained, enjoys toys and completely untrustworthy on free roam with high interest items (this includes expensive items; we don’t know how she knows – but she does!) Phryne is named after the heroine in Miss Fisher mysteries. She has a lot to overcome but like her namesake, she’s going to come out on top. She is deaf, she has some health issues, which she’s not old enough for us to fully test yet, and she may have some vision issues. But rest-assured, she doesn't let this stop her. She is the sweetest of hearts and loves to play when it's playtime and snuggle when it's nap time. Phryne is looking for her forever home where she will be loved unconditionally. Story
Cocoa is looking for her New Forever Home. Cocoa is coming up on 5 years old and is learning the benefits of having fur siblings and toys, lots of toys! She can play a little rough with her fur siblings, but quick to redirect. She has lived with children and seems to ignore cats. Cocoa is an expert at opening sliding gates and sliding doors. She has enough drool for two other dogs. She loves to be in the middle of the action and assumes everyone else wants her there! She is a foodie and likes to sample everyone’s dish! Cocoa’s Back Story: Cocoa is a 5 year old black Great Dane that was owner surrendered to us due to a divorce. Cocoa was just recovering from surgery on her Happy Tail. The skin is so damaged the vet removed the last 2-3” from her tail. If you think Cocoa is your Soulmate - please complete an adoption application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process .

Story
Daisy is on a temporary medical hold due to needing some dental work. But please don't let this stop you from putting in an application. She would love to know her home is waiting for her. Daisy is almost 8 years old - Great Dane. She is very laid back and is currently learning to play with toys and hanging with her people. Currently in her foster home she is living with 2 corgi’s and 4 chihuahua mixes as well as several cats. She is very laid back and does well with others. She does like to announce new arrivals, but once they are in she is good. Daisy’s Back Story: Daisy originally was with a backyard breeder. She was a breeder dog who didn't produce high enough so they got rid of her on craigslist. A veteran saw the post, took her to try to save her and surrendered her to us. When she was living with the veteran, a Pity and a German Shepherd for a bit. This sweet and amazing girl is currently living with cats, small dogs, and medium dogs and she is appreciating the good life. Daisy is looking for her Forever Home. Story
Eustace AKA Goat is almost a year old and has Auto-immune issues along with HOD. While we were very lucky and caught the HOD early, he will always show signs of this through his deformed limbs. There is always a slight chance that it can come back and his pet parents will need to be very careful with vaccinations due to the auto-immune issues. Eustace LOVES toys, food, playing with others and climbing on his person. Paw Patrol is a morning favorite that he will watch with his little sister. He requires inside and outside toys and will take toys out if he feels there is not enough outside. Laying in the grass is a great day for him and depending on the treats he loves spending time training and pretending to walk well on a leash. Eustace loves everyone once he gets to know them, but the world at large is very scary and he tends to have issues away from his Emotional Support Person. He is currently in training to work on his confidence. When stressed he can often be destructive or not be able to control going to the bathroom. If you think Eustace is your Forever Soulmate please complete an application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process

PLEASE SHARE. NEW FOSTER or FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED. Meet Olaf! Olaf is an approximately one-year old, 60-pound Great Dane mix, that narrowly escaped euthanasia in Texas. He is white with beautiful Merle markings and has the most gorgeous ice blue eyes. He’s just a big, sweet, goofy guy. He has loved being around dogs of all sizes, cats and humans. He gets great joy out of many things such as tug-of-war, chewing on a bone, going to dog parks and breweries with his foster.  Once he gets his wiggles out, he’s a great companion to cuddle up and watch Netflix and chill . He lets you know when it’s time to go outside. He loves to hang out in the backyard and run around. He is great in the car and thinks drive-throughs are super fun with the reward of a pup cup or maybe an occasional cheeseburger for being such a good boy. And…he surprisingly does not counter surf! His previous foster mom has done so much to help him learn how to “dog”. He is working on leash training,as walks are so exciting. Being in the kennel is not his favorite thing, but he does kennel fairly easily. If you’re looking for a big, beautiful, sweet heart of a dog, look no further, he’s your guy. He is neutered, micro chipped, fully vaccinated, and further testing that was negative for hip dysplasia. ##2037617##

Story
Blanca is a 5-month-old Great Dane mix with a heart as big as her paws. Rescued from a high-kill shelter on the day she was set to be euthanized, Blanca is now in foster care, settling into her new environment. She is a friendly, loving puppy who gets along well with other dogs. Blanca enjoys snuggling up with her humans and giving gentle puppy kisses. Blanca is looking for a forever home where she will receive lots of love and attention. A family that enjoys long walks and playtime in the yard would be perfect for her. She would also love to have a canine sibling to keep her company and show her the ropes. Blanca is a healthy girl who is up-to-date on all her vaccinations. She is currently working on her basic training in her foster home. If you are interested in adopting Blanca, please fill out an adoption application on the Ace of Hearts Dog Rescue website. Once your application is approved, you can arrange a meet-and-greet with Blanca. She can't wait to meet you and become a part of your family!

Story
Roper was running at large in North Texas and found his happy place at a French Bulldog breeder’s property SO if you see some really big FBs you know who the baby daddy is! He got his name because the sheriff roped him to break up the party. Our founder drove him to Colorado and just because of his size, she said people wouldn’t even make eye contact with her at gas stations, especially when she got him out to tinkle. She felt totally safe with him and so happy to have him along for the ride. He is 80-ish pounds and we think Dane and whatever. Roper has since been neutered, is current on vaccines, and has been working with a trainer on general obedience. His best owner would be alpha and keep up his training. This boy is sweet and athletic - watching him run and play is a beautiful thing. Please email dancingdogrescueco@gmail.com for foster or adoption information.

Story
For more information about this Dane, please visit our website at https://rmgreatdane.org. Adoption Applications link can be found on the home page. Hi – they call me Bubas.  I spent 4 months in a shelter.  They named me Bubas. I checked out of the vet with a clean bill of health, but they recommended some meds for fear and anxiety.  You see, I was found wandering the streets, so I have a very mysterious background – my little secret.  But I can tell you this:  I am scared of a lot of things, especially men and strangers.  Strange Men are the Worst.    I have latched on to Foster Mom and will not leave her side – I don’t growl at Foster Dad anymore, so that’s a bit of progress. I enjoy playing with other dogs and my toys.  I’m good with middle aged to older kids, but the little ones have as much energy as I do and they make me a bit nervous.  Besides, I’m big enough to knock them down when I’m just trying to play with them. I am slowly learning manners and commands and getting better with time.  I’m learning to walk on a harness and leash – regular collars make me alligator roll to get out of them.  I am house trained and crate trained. Here is my idea of the perfect home:  Great Dane Experience, female only household, my people to be home more than not, lots of patience and love, another big dog to pal around with and whom I can learn from,  interest in helping me to learn how to bring out the Awesomeness that is inside of me, and some more love.  Please fill out an application and ask for me.May 7, 2024, 2:23 pm

Story
For more information about this Dane, please visit our website at https://rmgreatdane.org. Adoption Applications link can be found on the home page. Cowboy is a Great Dane mix.  Like other shelter pups, we have limited information.  We are unsure what Cowboy is mixed with but it is clear he is “100% pure bred cuteness”.  We know he has some Great Dane because the shelter said, “we love how goofy he is”.  Yep – that sounds like a baby Dane to us! Cowboy was brought to a shelter as a stray.  The shelter has described Cowboy as “very active, talkative, playful, friendly with visitors, lap dog”.  He likes to play gently and has played with other dogs at the shelter.   We anticipate Cowboy will need Great Dane 101 lessons on all fronts, meaning – house training; crate training; leash training, etc. proper introductions to animals and young people.  Cowboy sounds super curious and ready to learn all about becoming a big, goofy Dane – so if this isn’t your first “Dane Rodeo” – help us get Cowboy a home!  More about Cowboy: Neutered Male Housebroken unknown Not trusted to free roam Crate trained unknown Puppy – higher energy No Cats (Cats Unknown; prey drive unknown) Dogs Unknown (played with dogs at shelter) Children unknown Needs leash training; Needs all basic training Must be a Great Dane or Giant Breed experienced home due to age and training required.
