Story
HOMEOWNERSHIP REQUIRED! Attention LARGE dog lovers!!!  Please meet Stuart (not so little)! Don't let his sleek grey coat, soft floppy ears, and stunning hazel eyes distract you. Stuart may look like a striking and refined pedigree, but in reality, he's a big goofball!  Stuart thinks he will fit perfectly into any lap and looks for opportunities to make that happen! Stuart has wonderful obedience skills (sit, stay, shake, down, come, leave it and place) - He is very smart, always eager to please and very treat motivated.  He is fully house trained, crate trained and also has wonderful leash manners. Stuart loves to play with most other dogs (following proper introductions), loves children and has successfully resided with a feline.  Due to his size and energy level during play, Stuart would likely do best with medium to larger dogs (smaller dogs tend to be intimidated by his size) and should be supervised around younger children - he loves to gallop in the yard or during feeding time and may, accidentally, fail to notice a smaller child in his excitement. Having come from a less than desirable home situation, new surroundings, crowded places, and some new new people may make Stuart a bit nervous from time to time.  But, he has had the opportunity to work with his foster family in these areas to create positive associations and has made wonderful strides - he now rewards his foster family with endless belly rubs and voluntarily offers his paw for a shake!  He has gained confidence in meeting new people with just a little bit of structure and reassurance from those he trusts.  Stuart has so much love to give - if you apply to meet sweet Stuart today, you will not be disappointed! Adoption fee includes the following: Spay/Neuter Rabies Vaccination Distemper / Parvo Vaccines (includes series of 3 for puppies) Bordetella Microchip with prepaid lifetime registration Deworming ##839726##

Story
Angle is a 4.5 Year Old Great Dane/Smooth Coated Collie Mix. She loves playing with other dogs and ignores cats, unless they want to play. She loves her people and even though she loves playing with other dogs, she really wants her human all to herself. She is also laid back and enjoys a good cuddle and chill on the couch while catching up on some TV. Angle is crate trained, enjoys toys and completely untrustworthy on free roam with high interest items (this includes expensive items; we don’t know how she knows – but she does!) If you think you are Angle's forever home, please complete an adoption application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process .

Story
Phryne is named after the heroine in Miss Fisher mysteries. She has a lot to overcome but like her namesake, she’s going to come out on top. She is deaf, she has some health issues, which she’s not old enough for us to fully test yet, and she may have some vision issues. But rest-assured, she doesn't let this stop her. She is the sweetest of hearts and loves to play when it's playtime and snuggle when it's nap time. Phryne is looking for her forever home where she will be loved unconditionally. If you're interested in adopting Phryne, visit savethegiants.com to submit your application. Even if you can't adopt Phryne, you can still support this sweet girl. Story
Cocoa is looking for her New Forever Home. Cocoa is coming up on 5 years old and is learning the benefits of having fur siblings and toys, lots of toys! She can play a little rough with her fur siblings, but quick to redirect. She has lived with children and seems to ignore cats. Cocoa is an expert at opening sliding gates and sliding doors. She has enough drool for two other dogs. She loves to be in the middle of the action and assumes everyone else wants her there! She is a foodie and likes to sample everyone’s dish! Cocoa’s Back Story: Cocoa is a 5 year old black Great Dane that was owner surrendered to us due to a divorce. Cocoa was just recovering from surgery on her Happy Tail. The skin is so damaged the vet removed the last 2-3” from her tail. If you think Cocoa is your Soulmate - please complete an adoption application at https://www.savethegiants.com/adoption-process .

Story
Adoption Fee: $475 When available, all animals are fixed in accordance with Colorado law, up to date on vaccines (may need boosters), and microchipped! What we know: Transferred from Shelter Support Network in Tulsa, Oklahoma, originally a litter of 5 puppies and their mom, the owner local to Tulsa kept the mom and one puppy; the other 4, all female, were transferred to CPR. Mom is purebred Pyrenees, livestock guardian, and a stray Anatolian Shepherd broke through their fencing. All 5 puppies and mom were fixed prior to transport. Pups are two months old at the time of transport. From the foster: If you are looking for personality plus, look no further: miss Ivy (811) has arrived! Ivy is quite the total puppy package, possessing a pair of irresistible puppy dog eyes that she uses to get exactly what she wants. She is a natural entertainer who loves the camera, gives epic hugs, and is guaranteed to make you laugh every single day. We are absolutely obsessed with her! Among her sisters, Ivy takes the crown for most spunky. She is the ultimate instigator of playtime with her siblings, yet she turns right around and is wonderfully sweet and respectful with our giant resident dogs. She’s got the perfect blend of spice and manners. Behind that photogenic face is the exact same powerhouse, giant-breed DNA as her sisters: • Mama: A stunning Great Pyrenees, equal parts family companion and chicken tender. • Daddy: A mysterious, fence-invading Anatolian Shepherd lookalike who viewed boundaries as an optional challenge. Because of her genetics, this spunky girl is going to grow into a large, independent protector who takes her family-watching duties seriously. She will naturally want to patrol her space and use her impressive adult voice to keep the neighborhood in check. The ideal forever home for Ivy includes: • Consistent Leadership & Training: With her high intelligence and big personality, she needs a confident leader who can guide her spunk in the right direction. • A Securely Fenced Yard: Daily outside access is a non-negotiable must. She needs plenty of room to burn off that signature puppy energy, stretch her long legs, and strike a pose. • No Shared Walls: While she is an absolute joy, her adult guardian voice means apartments or condos are a no-go for her breed mix. Ivy is currently being fostered in our busy household alongside three large dogs and two wild boys (ages 4 and 7). To put it simply: she adores everyone she meets, but she has a massive affinity for kiddos. It is purely her nature to gravitate toward the kids, join in on their antics, and keep a watchful, loving eye over them. If you are looking for a clever, confident, and hilariously entertaining companion to watch over your home and fill your camera roll to maximum capacity, Ivy is ready to strike a pose in your living room! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Mom is purebred Pyrenees, livestock guardian, and a stray Anatolian Shepherd broke through their fencing. All 5 puppies and mom were fixed prior to transport. Pups are two months old at the time of transport. From the foster: Meet Tansy! (810). If you are looking for a pup who wears her heart on her sleeve and has a soul as soft as her honey smooth coat, Tansy is your girl. Tansy is a touch on the timid side when she first meets you. But don't let that fool you—it doesn’t take long at all for the initial shyness to melt away and for the pure, unadulterated sweetness to start oozing out. Tansy is a champion leaner. She loves reassurance from her humans and finds immense comfort in the presence of other dogs—especially the kind, steady resident dogs who are willing to show her the ropes at a gentle pace. Despite her tender heart right now, Tansy shares the exact same majestic, giant-breed DNA as her sisters: • Mama: A stunning Great Pyrenees, equal parts family companion and chicken tender. • Daddy: A mysterious, fence-invading Anatolian Shepherd lookalike who treated boundaries as mere suggestions. While Tansy is the quietest of the bunch right now, these breeds naturally grow into strong, independent guardians. As she gains confidence, her instinct to patrol, watch over her family, and use her impressive adult voice to alert you to delivery drivers will kick in. The ideal forever home for Tansy includes: • A Patient Leader: She needs consistent training wrapped in positive reinforcement to help her confidence skyrocket. • A Securely Fenced Yard: Daily outside access is a non-negotiable must. She needs a safe space to stretch her long legs and sniff out all the world's mysteries at her own pace. • No Shared Walls: Even the quiet puppies grow up to have big guardian voices, making apartments or condos a no-go for these breeds. Tansy is currently being fostered in our beautifully chaotic home alongside three large dogs and two very high-energy boys (ages 4 and 7). Even though she appreciates a slower approach, she does incredibly well with the whole crew! Because it is in her genetic code to gravitate toward her flock, she is learning to love the hustle and bustle and truly enjoys being near the kids. If you have a gentle heart, a secure yard, and a desire to watch a shy puppy blossom into a loyal, devoted protector, Tansy is waiting to become your shadow! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt

Mom is purebred Pyrenees, livestock guardian, and a stray Anatolian Shepherd broke through their fencing. All 5 puppies and mom were fixed prior to transport. Pups are two months old at the time of transport. From the foster: Violet is a most joyful floof. She walks into a room with a wagging tail and open heart, ready to be friends and play with whoever is willing. Of her littermates, she is without a doubt the most outgoing and confident. The kind of pup who happily makes herself a part of whatever everyone is doing. Honestly? We LOVE Violet. Like, obsessively love her. If our home weren’t already operating at max capacity—featuring three large dogs and a two-man wrecking crew (our boys, ages 4 and 7)—we would have drafted adoption papers by now. She just blends in seamlessly. Her favorite daily routine consists of running wild outside with the kids and then immediately collapsing into a massive, multi-species snuggle puddle. As noted in her bio, Violet’s genetic makeup is a majestic mix of high-tier guardian breeds: • Mama: A stunning Great Pyrenees, equal parts family companion and chicken tender. • Daddy: A mysterious, fence-invading Anatolian Shepherd lookalike who clearly didn't believe in boundaries. The ideal forever home for Violet Includes: • Consistent Leadership & Training: She needs someone who can gently remind her that she isn't the boss of the house (even if she looks like a giant cloud). • A Securely Fenced Yard: Daily outside access is a non-negotiable must. She needs room to stretch those long legs, sniff all the things, and survey her empire. • No Shared Walls: While these breeds are actually pretty mellow and mid-line in terms of energy, their "voice" means apartments or condos will result in very unhappy neighbors. While shared walls are a no-go, kids are a PERFECT fit. Violet and her littermates have been raised from birth in a bustling environment surrounded by kiddos, chickens, and other dogs. She has an absolute affinity for them all. It is literally in her nature to guard, gravitate toward, and unconditionally love her pack. If you are looking for an involved, adventurous family companion who will watch over you by day and crush you with love during movie night, Violet is ready to sign the contract! www.coloradopuppy.org/how-to-adopt
