For more information about this Dane, please visit our website at https://rmgreatdane.org. Adoption Applications link can be found on the home page. Meet Chevy Status: Available Sex: Spayed Female – Gastropexied Color: Merle Ears: Natural Age: 6 yrs Weight: 108 lbs Great Dane Experience Required Adoption Fee – has been paid by a generous sponsor Chevy is a beautiful 6-year-old merle Great Dane looking for a special home that understands her needs and is ready to help her continue building confidence. At her core, Chevy is an incredibly loyal Dane who forms deep bonds with her people. Once she trusts you, she'll happily follow you from room to room, curl up nearby while you relax, and remind you why Great Danes are known for their devotion. She loves playing fetch with her Kong stick, zooming around the yard, and soaking up time with her favorite humans. Chevy is house-trained, crate-trained, knows basic commands including sit, down, come, stay, and off, and responds well to hand signals. She enjoys learning, especially when rewarded with her favorite all-natural treats. While Chevy has many wonderful qualities, she is looking for a very specific home where she can thrive. Chevy can be reactive to people and animals she sees through windows, on walks, or while riding in the car. She will bark and lunge when triggered and will need continued training, patience, and consistent leadership to help her work through these behaviors. Because of her reactivity, Chevy must be the only pet in the home. She is not a candidate for homes with other dogs, cats, or small animals. She also requires an adult-only home with no children. Chevy's ideal adopter will have previous giant breed experience, understand canine body language, and be committed to continuing her training and confidence-building. She would do best in a calm, predictable environment with a securely fenced yard where she can safely run and play. In return, Chevy offers unwavering loyalty, affection, and companionship. She settles in quickly with her people, enjoys spending time with her family, and loves nothing more than being close to the person she trusts. If you're an experienced giant breed owner looking for a devoted companion and are willing to provide the structure and training Chevy needs, she may be the perfect addition to your family. 🐾 Meet Sully! Those eyes! 😍 Sully is a 6-month-old, Dane/Lab mix, sweetheart with one gorgeous blue eye, one warm brown eye, and a personality that’s just as adorable as his looks! This goofy, silly boy is a professional lap dog in training who loves cuddles just as much as playtime. He enjoys playing with his canine siblings, loves children, and walks nicely on a leash. Sully is also eager to learn and ready to keep growing into the amazing dog he’s meant to be. Of course, he’s still a puppy, so he’s learning his manners and figuring out this big world one day at a time. Sully will thrive with a family committed to daily exercise, continued obedience training, and positive reinforcement to help him become the best boy he can be. He’ll need regular opportunities to burn off that puppy energy, work his brain, and keep learning! If you’re looking for a sweet, fun-loving companion who will make you laugh, fill your days with puppy kisses, and happily snuggle up in your lap (even when he gets too big for it!), Sully might just be your perfect match! 🐶 All this handsome boy needs now is a family to love him, guide him, and help him thrive. Sully is being fostered in Castle Rock, Colorado. *We require all adopters to come to Colorado to adopt. *We do not transport dogs.* You can view this wonderful dog at https://www.milehighcanine.org/post/dogs/sully/. Story

Dane was running out of time through no fault of his own. He found himself in a small rural shelter where space had run out, putting him on the euthanasia list simply because there wasn't room. Thankfully, Dane got a second chance. At around a year old, this stunning blue merle Great Dane mix is as easygoing as they come. He enjoys going for walks, hanging out with his dog friends, and taking plenty of naps in between. Dane gets along great with dogs of all sizes and with cats, making him an easy fit for many homes. He is a calm, laid-back guy who is simply happy to be included. Good fit: someone looking for a relaxed companion who enjoys walks, naps, and spending time with both people and other animals. Adoption process: All adoptions are completed prior to transport. Dogs are picked up at designated transport locations. If an adoption doesn’t work out (rare, but life happens), we always take our dogs back. Location: Oklahoma (available to approved out-of-state adopters via transport) Health: Fully vetted (neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested) Adoption fee: $450 (includes transport + vetting) Bonus: Each adoption includes a 30-minute phone consultation with a professional trainer Transport routes: WA, OR, ID, MT, UT, WY, CO, MN, WI, IA, IL, IN, OH, PA, MD, NY, NJ Think you might be a good fit? Story

`Mater` is a wiggly, friendly youngster with loads of energy. Mater will do best in an active home with experienced owners who will provide consistent, positive reinforcement training as he learns to channel his `vroom vroom` and know when to keep that engine idling! He is so much fun and will be a great addition to any family. We don't know much about his history so we recommend you bring in other dogs and children who live in the home, to make sure it's a good fit for this silly goofball.October 27, 2026, 4:43 pm
