Story
Hi! I'm Cleo, and I'm ready to find my forever home.  I'm a 12-month-old female Great Pyrenees mix. Yes, I know I look nothing like Great Pyrenees other than the white fur, but I do watch over my home like a GP. And I enjoy patrolling my backyard to protect my family from intruders and strange noises. I love people and am good with new people, older kids, and my family.  I weigh around 60 pounds and am already spayed. I’m totally housebroken. But I'm not a big fan of being crated. I need slow introductions to new dogs, but we get along great after I get to know them! But I'm not cat-compatible. I love walks but go into protection mode when I see another dog. My foster parents are working with me on this.  I have something called resource guarding. If I have something I like (usually a toy or dirty sock), it's mine, and I don't want to give it up. But if you offer me a trade, like a treat, I will easily exchange my item for the treat. I love to cuddle! If all this sounds great, please complete an adoption application and meet me. I'm waiting for you.           An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms     Please be sure to like our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org    Note:   Some apartments and neighborhoods  have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.           July 22, 2024, 8:23 pm

Story
Meet Beary Tree   Beary Tree is a stunning, 3 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.   This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him.  He loves car rides and walks. Hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress. His fluffy coat is silky soft and invites many pets which works for him since he feels that there are never enough of those.   He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a good idea for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it. On the flip side, he is also a big fan of daytime naps and just hanging out. Beary will do best in a home where he is your one and only four legged family member.   This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky home. Story
Delight is a 4 year old Great Pyrenees who is finishing up with her mommy duties and is ready for her furever home. She is very shy at first, especially with men, but will warm up with patience and be your best buddy.    Delight is good with other dogs, unknown with cats. She seems to like children with slow introductions. She can be an escape artist, so a very secure fence will be needed for her. Pyrenees are known to be livestock guard dogs and enjoy spending time outside and will roam if not contained.  An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. Story
Meet Saul - Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 4-year-2-month- old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 99 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am however VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean, but that's because I am a gentleman. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all - it makes me look even cuter! I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! Love, Saul!

Story
He is a super sweet boy around the age of 1 year old. He is Great Pyrenees and completely white in color. He loves loves to walk, play with other dogs and good with kids. Unknown on the cat part and doesn’t seem to have a prey instinct at all. He would need to be in a home with a fenced in yard and he isn’t fond of a dog crate at all.
