Story
Meet Beary Tree   Beary Tree is a stunning, 3 year old, Great Pyrenees mix. He weighs about 65 pounds. He has a medium energy level, is house trained, and working on crate training, but does well out in the house when left alone.   This guy is Mr. Charisma. He loves everyone and everyone loves him.  He loves car rides and walks. Hikes are a big hit with Beary Tree too, but he can be barky when approaching other dogs. He is working on this and is making progress. His fluffy coat is silky soft and invites many pets which works for him since he feels that there are never enough of those.   He loves hanging out in the yard, so a fenced yard is a good idea for this guy. Beary is a very intelligent dog who enjoys having something to do whether it is working on training, hiking, walking or whatever activity you love, he is up for it. On the flip side, he is also a big fan of daytime naps and just hanging out. Beary will do best in a home where he is your one and only four legged family member.   This sweet boy is a joy and loves his people. He is going to be a great addition to a lucky home. An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online.  http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms   Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions. We verify rental policies and adhere to any regulations. Please ensure you understand those restrictions before choosing a dog.          October 12, 2024, 3:03 pm

Story
best with cats or low-key female dogs “Meet Jaxon! This 3 year old,  Great Pyrenees mix, is large, in charge, and ready to rule your roost/couch! Jaxon can organize a toy mess in under 30 seconds and he can return a ball to you even faster. His favorite activities are making sure his people and home are safe, picking up litter on walks so you can discard it (cares about his environment!), and babysitting tennis balls. What he lacks in small-ness he makes up for in the puppy playfulness. He’s crate-trained, good on a leash with harness, and mostly house-trained (so close!). His foster home includes both cats and dogs and he prefers his kitty friends. Interested adopters should expect a couple rounds of dog-testing with any existing dogs (low energy females preferred) and some warm-up time with men.” Age: 3 years old approx  Weight: approx 65 lbs  Temperament: Gets along with adults, kids, dogs  Training: house trained.  Vetting: Spayed, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative  For questions about Jaxon, please email.  chelseacna@gmail.com   &#226&#128&#139To ensure we're meeting both pet and adopters' needs, we ask potential adopters to complete an Adoption Application (www.bit.ly/DH-Adoption) for caretakers to review. Once your application is approved, we will bring the adoptable pet to your home for a preliminary visit. We are 100% donation-funded and our fees are equivalent to (or less than) the cost to fully vet a new dog yourself October 10, 2024, 3:24 pm

Story
Meet Saul! /(^.^)\ Hi everyone! My name is Saul, and I am a 4.5 years old Great Pyrenees with the whitest coat around! I currently weigh around 98 pounds, and I am fully grown. Everyone here says I am the biggest cuddle bug around. I love all people and will let you pet me whenever you want, as I thrive off of human interaction. When I see you approaching me, I will let out a low howl to show off my excitement. I DO NOT like other dogs or cats. I have been briefly tested on a leash with goats and chickens and I was ok, but we do not know how I would do once I get comfortable. I have the best leash manners, as I do not pull and will walk right beside you at a slow pace (I like to take my time). I am, however, VERY leash reactive when taking a walk if other animals are around, as I don't like them. I do like to keep my kennel clean too. I love being outside and will lay out in the sun and take a nap all day if you let me. I do have a lot of fur, but I don't mind being brushed at all. I am very protective of my people and will guard you. I need to have a large fenced-in area, maybe even a farm, but I also love a family to spend time with inside. My ideal home would be with an experienced Great Pyrenees dog owner who is a strong dog handler, that way I can thrive in my new home and be set up for success. Currently, I am available for adoption. If you are interested in learning more about me, please stop by the Humane Society of Forsyth County, Tuesday through Thursday between 11 am and 5 pm and Friday and Saturday between 1 pm to 5 pm. I will be waiting patiently to greet you! All my love and floofliness, Saul /(^.^)\
