Story
Meet Chloe and Betsey – Shepherd-Husky Sisters! Chloe and Betsey are 1-year-and-4-month-old Shepherd-Husky mixes looking for loving homes. These sweet sisters are not bonded and can be adopted separately, giving each a chance to shine in a home of their own. They’ve spent most of their time outdoors, and while they’ve picked up the habit of digging, they’re eager to learn and thrive with the right training and guidance. Chloe and Betsey are healthy, friendly, and ready to be part of a family that will provide the love and structure they deserve. The shelter is at capacity, so keeping these pups out of the shelter is crucial. Your home could be the fresh start they need to avoid a stressful stay in an overcrowded environment. If you're interested in meeting one or both of these beautiful dogs, please contact Maria at mariazarinha@hotmail.com. If you do not receive a response from Maria, please send an email to adopt.ycas@gmail.com. Chloe and Betsey can’t wait to find their forever homes! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. All dogs have been been vaccinated with DHPP and Bordatella (kennel cough) and heartworm tested negative (if over 6 months).    All cats have been vaccinated with FVRCP and current on flea control. Story
Indica the plant is a relaxant, sleep aid, pain reliever, and appetite stimulator. Our Indica, of the disdainful look, will help you relax and sleep and eat better because you will both be getting lots of exercise! Her adoring look and show of affection will make you forget any pain...So come and meet this beautiful, smart Siberian Husky (79%, with a little Alaskan Malamute) who will listen to every word you say.We have been working on her shy disposition by having her in play groups and she has begun to handle it well.Very attentive to what is going on around her.Not automatically friendly, but when she knows you, she seeks affection, interaction, and play. She will be very bonded with her person.Responsive to corrections and training. She has such potential to be a loving, loyal companion.Notes on a day trip:Indi was amazing the entire time I had her out.As soon as we left the shelter, she was quite mellow.Loaded into the car easily and enjoyed the ride. I had the windows down and she loved sticking her nose out for some fresh air.Very good on leash went we went for a long walk along a canal. Any slight pulling was easily corrected.Appropriately interested in everything- birds, smells, dogs, and people on the other side of the canal. At my house, she wagged her tail and got up close to the sliding glass door where my dogs were. She definitely wanted to meet them.Comfortable in the house, likely preferring the soft chairs if allowedâ&#194&#128¦Interested in my pool and intrigued by the floating robot but did not try to go in.Loved her pup cup and slept in the car back to the shelter.Enjoyed being brushed.Made no sound the entire timeâ&#194&#128¦nothing.Overall, such a sweet dog! All animals are up-to-date on vaccinations (including rabies if over 4 months old), microchipped, and spayed or neutered. Story
Meet Roomba (aka Luna): Fluff Nugget, Escape Artist, Professional Couch Potato Roomba is a 2-year-old Siberian Husky in a slightly smaller, quieter package, with majestic white fur, ice-blue eyes, and zero interest in being alone. Seriously, this girl could teach Houdini a thing or two. She once got out of her kennel so dramatically, she gave herself a limp and earned a VIP trip to one of our fabulous foster homes full of friendly huskies who love meeting new friends.Roomba is a total lovebug disguised as a mischievous little snow wolf. Her hobbies include: Dramatic sighs when left alone for five seconds Cuddling like it's an Olympic sport Staring into your soul with her ridiculously blue eyesRoomba is living her best life when she has company, be it a fellow furry partner-in-crime or a human sidekick who works from home. She is a total social butterfly (with four paws and fluff), happiest when she's in the middle of the action and right by your side. If you're the type who loves a snuggly shadow following you from room to room, Roomba might just be your soulmate in dog form.Adopt Roomba before she â&#194&#128&#194&#156accidentallyâ&#194&#128&#194&#157 ends up on your couch anyway.
