Story
Meet Mila, a 5-month-old Husky/Pit Bull mix with striking looks and tons of puppy energy. At 35 pounds, she’s growing fast and needs a home where she can catch up on the training and structure she’s missed. Right now, Mila acts more like a 2-month-old pup—curious, playful, and still learning the basics. She’s a smart girl who’s eager to please, but she can be mouthy like many young pups, especially when she's excited or overstimulated. Because of this, she’d do best in a home with adults or older kids who understand puppy behavior and can continue her training with patience and consistency. A well-mannered dog friend might also help show her the ropes.Mila is full of potential—she just needs the right home to help her shine. She’s ready to trade the shelter for a fresh start and a family who’s ready to invest in her future.July 8, 2025, 1:11 pm

(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)

Not good with kids, Not good with dogs, Not good with cats, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Once a very scared dog hiding in the corner of his kennel and growling, Randy is now the silly happy loving puppy he's meant to be. This guy came to us as a stray, very shut down and avoidant. After a few weeks of TLC he's finally ready for his next chapter.Randy is estimated to be 1 year old and still has some big puppy/adolescent energy; he loves to play with squeaky toys, romp around the yard, and give kisses to his human friends. Sometimes those kisses turn into playful nibbles, oops!New places can be scary for Randy. He is still learning how to walk on a leash and experience the big world out there. His adopters should have a securely fenced yard for potty breaks while he adjusts to his new neighborhood, and be prepared to take things super slow.Randy has been very forward when meeting new dogs (he loves them) and needs to brush up on some social skills, but we think a well-matched canine sibling would be great for his confidence. If you'd like to meet this one-of-a-kind pup, give us a call or head to our Santa Rosa adoption center.
