He is true to his breed and loves to chat, play, and be a goober! When meeting another dog his size, he was a little forward, so we recommend a longer introduction to other dogs. Ralphie will need an adopter that can keep up with his energy level and provide him with lots of enrichment & exercise. We are recommending that he go into an adult only home.  For more information about this animal, call:Sonoma County Animal Services at (707) 565-71001247 Century Court, Santa Rosa Tuesday - Saturday12:00 - 5:00 p.m.Adoptions are processed until 4:30 p.m.April 21, 2024, 12:07 am

He's an anxious dog who's skittish around new people and in new places. We've found he's much more confident when in the presence of another dog. He's a playful, adolescent husky with a lot of energy. So his new family should anticipate basic adolescent dog antics. It takes him a while to warm up to new people. Once he knows you he enjoys snuggles and treats. Because of his desire to wander, we do not recommend that Max is allowed to be off leash in unfenced areas.  Adoption Center: (415) 506-6225 The Marin Humane Society 171 Bel Marin Keys Blvd., Novato, California 94949 Email: adoptions@marinhumanesociety.orgApril 21, 2024, 12:07 am

Story
This animal is available at the Napa County Shelter Phone: 707-253-4382 PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT NORTH BAY Shasta ID 28308 Breed: Siberian Husky Sex: Female Age: 9 years, 6 months, 3 weeks Weight: 62.3 lbs Date In: 1/20/2024 Meet Shasta, a gorgeous female Siberian Husky! This beauty may be a little more mature, but she has lots of spurts of playful puppy energy out in the yard! She's easy-going and enjoys walks with her people, basking in the sun, and belly rubs! Those familiar with huskies will recognize their stubborn yet loyal nature, and the internet is jam-packed with this breed and their funny vocalizations! She fits the bill and will inform you if she's hungry or needs to go out. While very affectionate, we recommend that she be the only animal in the house and go to a home with older kids or no kids only due to some observations of resource guarding (think food bowls, treats, or toys). Shasta is a loving girl who would make an excellent companion to a lucky adopter. The Napa County Shelter Erika Gamez Shelter Manager  942 Hartle Court  Napa, CA  94558  Main Phone: 707-253-4382  Main Fax: 707-253-6191  Kelly Tracey, Shelter Supervisor  ktracey@co.napa.ca.usApril 21, 2024, 12:07 am

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Zephyr is an approximate 5 year old Husky/Lab(?) mix. She is super smart, playful, funny, and obedient. Zephyr was a transfer from SFSPCA where she wasn't getting much interest. She had come to them as a mom with pups and was in foster care until her pups were ready for adoption. At that time, Zephyr was shutdown and unsure. The SFSPCA team did a fabulous job of getting her accustomed to the leash and helping her learn to trust. Since her arrival at Azaya, she has blossomed into a silly girl with TONS of personality. She loves to play with other dogs, is a pleasure to walk on the leash, and will talk back to you (as Huskies are prone to do). She has participated in several rounds of our obedience program and is now used as our demo dog. This dog has made a huge turnaround and we don't think she's finished surprising us yet. Please inquire about how Zephyr can add some quick wit and never ending curiosity to your life All of our animals are up to date on their vaccinations, spayed/neutered, microchipped, and have had a physical exam. At adoption we provide: veterinary records and vaccine certificates, castration certificate, lifetime lost animal support, one month’s worth of flea medication and heartworm medication, one week’s worth of food, a leash, a collar, an ID tag, and a familiar toy or blanket to help them settle in.
