Story
Elvis is a happy-go-lucky husky mix with a giant smile and sparkling blue eyes. He came to HSNB with a small dog, and has been good with other dogs at the shelter. Elvis LOVES attention; he will happily put his front paws on your lap and relish in your affection, and he'll roll over for a belly rub every chance he gets. He's housetrained and knows the "sit" command. He's food motivated and eager to please, and his tail wags constantly when practicing and learning new things. If you're looking for a loving, social companion, Elvis is your guy! His adoption fee means he'll come to you neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccinations. If you'd like to come meet Elvis, please complete an adoption interest application here: https://www.hsnb.org/dog-adoption-application/. Story
My name is Wolfgang and I am beautiful 2 year old grey and white Siberian Husky. Luckily, I was saved from the shelter and am currently in a foster home while I wait for a family of my very own. My rescue came and met me and took these great videos. Check them out! https://youtu.be/h_YDuzHjc4w https://youtu.be/TAh6xjg1IaQ https://youtu.be/4bLEWKBYN3k https://youtu.be/rtgF9rq9Ass My rescue says I am affectionate, affiliative and VERY dog social, especially with another dog I met at the shelter. Shelter volunteers said I am the sweetest boy. I loves to run, play with toys, and be the center of attention. I would love to be your hiking or running buddy. I've got a bark that's loud and proud, and legs that never seem to tire. If you’d like to meet me please contact Martina Animal Rescue at martinaanimalrescue@yahoo.com or text Laura at 916-996-5777. I'm located in Northern CA. Application, home check and adoption fee required. Below is a link to our fillable adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/203461111050132 Love, Wolfgang

Story
URGENT - COURTESY POST My name is Austero. I'm currently being fostered by Whiskers, Tails & Ferals and am ready for a home of my very own! My foster mommy has stage 4 cancer and I need a new foster or adopter ASAP. I'm a young and playful boy that loves all dogs, and likes most humans. Women are a bit easier for me than men, but I will snuggle with the guys after I see I can trust them. Life with me will never be boring I assure you! Check out my beautiful eyes and that adorable smile of mine! I'm not a big fan of crates but, am crate trained to go in for meals. I love food! I also prefer being an inside dog. I will go out and do my business and be right back at the door 3 minutes later asking you to let me in. I love having a home and being with my people. My foster mommy says I'm very sassy and have a great deal of the husky demeanor. I will do best in a home with no small children simply due to my play style and not being able to realize when I might knock a child over. I'm also very food motivated which his helpful when doing any kind of training. Here's some great pics and videos of me. https://youtu.be/6QbsDAioZus https://youtu.be/CNJJdtd_yP0 https://youtu.be/K1vnQ4q8JbU https://youtu.be/7SoZPtUemJM If you'd like to meet me or know more about me, please email us at: wtfnapadogs@gmail.com See more information at http://whiskerstailsandferals.org/. Story
Dino is a lovely energetic male, Husky-German shepherd mix who loves to run, play, go on walks, and be around human company. Dino would probably do best for a one-dog household, but he may be good with another dog after a careful introduction and with an experienced family. He is super trainable, and he craves human company and instruction. Dino's an amazing dog. Give him a chance, he deserves it.

Story
Thor is a staff and volunteer favorite, and once you meet him it's easy to see why. This 70 lb love-bug craves affection and will lean against you while you pet him and tell him he's a good boy. Once he's out of the chaotic shelter environment, Thor walks nicely on leash and has wonderful manners. He knows the "sit" command and takes treats gently. He's an intelligent boy and would thrive in a home that will provide plenty of enrichment and teach him new commands. Thor loves toys and will jump into the toy bin in the play yard to select his own playthings. He enjoys fetch and tug-o-war, and playing with other dogs. To set up a meet and greet with Thor, go to HSNB.org and fill out a dog adoption interest application. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 67 Age: 3yrs 7mths 2wks

Story
Good day, I'm Yami, known for my handsome good looks and smoldering baby blues. What makes me stand out is I perform a "happy" bouncy dance for the volunteer walkers before they take me out for a walk and to play. It works because they are always happy after my dance. It's magical.Like most huskies, I'm smart, friendly, but shy, good disposition, and affectionate. I enjoy snuggling, pets, kisses, going on walks, playing with toys and snacks. I walk well on a leash and know basic commands like sit, down, wait, and heel, but I'm sure with love, structure and guidance I can learn alot more. The volunteers have been working with me on my manner and I have improved a great deal. I'm compatible with other dogs, but am dog selective. If you have a dog, you can bring it to visit me to see if we can be friends. I'm afraid I'm not a fan of cats or other small animals. I'm compatible with well-behaved older kids and would thrive with an active, loving family that has the time to provide me with both physical and mental stimulation. I know I can bring joy and happiness to your family. Please come see for yourself. I'll do my "happy" dance for you.My adoption fee of $150 means I'll come to you neutered, microchipped and up-to-date on all my vaccinations. Please visit www.hsnb.org to fill out an adoption interest application and set-up a date. Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 73.375 Age: 6yrs 5mths 2wks
