Story
Bobby – Available! 8mos old Bobby wins our Cook Kid Award. He's a smaller sized heart throb of a Husky-mix. Maybe mixed with German Shepherd? … We’re guessing because of those brown eyes and his keen sense for obedience. He’s warmly affectionate and as highly biddable as you’d want in a buddy. Not high strung, not squealy, not escape driven (those stereotypes about Huskies are hard to shake!) … This kid will be your sit-at-your-feet pal during chill times and good times hiking, camping Best Little Man. Now moshing with a group of dogs and being oh-so appropriate and fun. House trained, neutered, all vax done – He’s ready to go home. Watch him learn about life on our Insta Send us a note with your wish list for a new friend to get the ball rolling.

Story
Hi my pet name is Diamond. She is very smart. Love to play. Love to give you her paw. She listens very well. She will be a year October 11th. I have to take care of a family member. This is the only reason. We got her from my sons classmates parents really good people they have the mom and and they had a liter of 11. My son and I love her to death it is just unfair to her because I need her to be with someone that love dogs and can give her a good home and all the attention she deserves. She don’t bark a lot. Unless someone is coming to the house she lets you know. If she don’t know you you just put your hand out and let her smell you. She wants to play after that. She loves running around at the dog park. She loves to cuddle and put her head on you

Story
Moose is a sweet, loving, playful dog. Originally from a breeder in Oklahoma, he was adopted six years ago after his previous owner passed away when he was only 7 months old. He loves going on long walks, hiking, running, and playing. He is very social and always excited to meet new people. Moose knows all basic commands, and lots of tricks. He walks well on leash. Moose gets a little lonely by himself, and would do best in a household where he isn’t alone 8+ hours per day. This is the primary reason he is being re-homed, as this is no longer possible in his current situation. He loves to be outside, but needs a tall fenced-in yard, or must be on leash. He would probably not do well in a large apartment building. He likes most dogs (except intact males), but may not thrive living with another dog. He needs, at the very least, to be fed alone if around other dogs. He was raised with cats, and gets along great with them. He has no issues with kids.

Story
I am in a foster home and not at the shelter. If you are interested in adopting, submit an adoption questionnaire by email. Learn more hereIntroducing Juneau, a classic husky beauty! Although she came to the shelter undersocialized, Juneau has made great progress in foster. She is sometimes cautious with strangers, but will shower those she trusts with all the love. In a quiet home, Juneau will continue to thrive. She is potty trained (yard only), has great house manners, and can be left home alone. Walking outside on leash is a relatively new hobby, and she's currently working on not getting over excited when she sees other dogs. She has strong prey drive, which would make co-habitating with cats unlikely. Juneau would enjoy being your one and only companion, but could also do well with another tolerant dog -- she has been playful with puppies in foster, and snuggles with calm adult dogs. She has also spent time with respectful kids, who report she is softer than a fleece blanket! Juneau is 3 years old and 52 lbs. Follow her in foster with @adopt.this.dog.eastbay on Instagram!
