Story
Bonnie is a darling Lab–Husky mix with the sweetest heart and the softest cream-colored coat that practically glows in the sunshine. She’s the total package — adorable, affectionate, and always ready for fun! This cutie has that perfect mix of Lab love and Husky spirit — playful, curious, and full of joyful puppy energy. Whether she’s romping around the yard, cuddling up for snuggles, or greeting new friends (human or canine!), Bonnie brings sunshine wherever she goes. She’s still young and learning, but her eagerness to please and loving nature make her a dream to train. She’ll thrive with a family that’s ready for puppy adventures, daily playtime, and plenty of love. If you’ve been waiting for a sweet, social, happy pup to complete your home — Bonnie is ready to steal your heart (and maybe a few socks, too).

Story
Rosie is a sweet Siberian Husky with a touch of sass and wild spirit—true to her name, inspired by the Wild Rose, the official flower of Alberta, where she’s been fostered for the past three months. Rosie’s story almost ended too soon. She was abandoned by her owner at a crowded shelter and placed on the euthanasia list after she stopped eating out of depression. Thankfully, she was rescued just in time—and it turns out she does eat (and loves every bite)! We believe Rosie spent much of her early life tied up outside, with little exercise and minimal human contact. She also shows signs of past mistreatment. When she first arrived, she was terrified of everything. Over time, with love and patience, she’s begun to open up in the most heartwarming ways. But her progress is still ongoing—she’s shy, skittish around new experiences, and will need a home that understands that healing takes time. Rosie is terrified of children, so she needs a calm, stable, and kid-free home. She’ll thrive best with patient, loving adults who can provide structure and reassurance. She also loves having a dog best friend—another gentle, confident dog helps her feel more secure and playful. As Rosie’s confidence has grown, so has her personality. Once thought to be low energy, she’s now showing her mischievous, funny side. She adores running, exploring, and chasing squirrels—and when she feels safe, she’ll seek out belly rubs and snuggles that will melt your heart. She may not know all her commands yet, but she’s clever in her own way, and with love and consistency, she’ll continue to blossom. Rosie’s looking for a home where she can feel truly safe and finally learn that the world isn’t such a scary place after all.

Story
Abby is a Siberian Husky who was saved from a heartbreaking fate, and she’s making the most of every second of her second chance. With her soulful brown eyes and gentle spirit, she’s the kind of dog who quietly wins over everyone she meets. Abby is just sooo chill and relaxed. She’s a little bit of a shadow, always wanting to be near her people but never in a needy way. She’s fully potty trained, well-mannered, and has mastered the art of simply being a good girl. Belly rubs make her melt with happiness, and she’ll happily flop over for more. One of Abby’s most charming quirks is her love for her crate. Whether it’s from past training or simply seeing another dog do it and catching on, she’ll head into her crate on her own just to relax. It’s become her safe space, and the door is always open. That alone can be such a huge hurdle for many dogs so it’s truly a gift with Abby. She’s not a picky eater, not high maintenance, and not demanding, just a sweet soul looking for a safe, loving home where she can enjoy her golden years. If you’ve been searching for a loyal, easygoing, and affectionate companion, Abby is waiting to meet you. Could she be your perfect match?

Story
This baby boy was out of time, until Love’s Legacy Rescue stepped up to save him on his euthanasia date at Lancaster Shelter. Franklin (formerly known as Kimchi) arrived with a face full of scars and cowered from humans. Yet even in his fear, he met kindness with a timid tail wag and a shy, submissive smile. The leash was a foreign concept to him and he needed to be carried out of the spot he was pancaked in. Then one day, it just clicked that the leash could open the rest of the world up to him. In just 5 short days, he is joyfully walking a full mile along the busy waterfront trail! He greets strangers with gentle curiosity and even offers waggy smiles to men he was once afraid of. Franklin is now discovering that the world is a safe and beautiful place. He waits patiently in his crate while his foster parents are at work, loves affection, and is showing wonderful house manners for such a young pup. He listens beautifully, takes direction the first time, and has shown zero leash reactivity so far. Though he hasn’t met his foster’s resident dogs yet, we have every reason to believe he’ll be his usual sweet, respectful self. Franklin is still gaining weight and finishing his recovery, but his spirit is already shining bright. His transformation is living proof of what love, patience, and second chances can do.
