Caesar is a sweet, calm, and playful pup who brings an easygoing presence to the home and plenty of fun when it’s time to play. He is friendly with adults, children, and other dogs, and he especially enjoys chasing, being chased, and playing fetch at the dog park. Tennis balls are a major motivator for him; if a ball is thrown, Caesar is ready to retrieve it. Meet Caesar Caesar is a cuddly companion who is quiet and well-mannered indoors. He enjoys being close to his people and may take a few minutes to settle when left alone, but he relaxes quickly once he knows everything is okay. He is particularly excited to start the day with a morning walk, often letting his people know he is ready to go outside with happy whining and enthusiasm. He is leash-trained and approximately 99% potty trained. He knows “sit” and is currently working on “come,” “stay,” and “off.” Caesar is gentle when accepting treats and is motivated by both food and toys, especially tennis balls. Everyday Life Caesar loves car rides and would happily ride shotgun if he could—he enjoys being close to his humans while traveling. He is tolerant of baths and has learned an adorable apartment-entry routine: after walks, he sits patiently to have his paws wiped, offers each paw on cue, and heads inside when told, “Go.” At home, Caesar’s playful personality comes out in the form of hallway zoomies. His foster family even bought artificial turf as a possible indoor potty option, but Caesar has made it clear that he prefers using it as his personal nap spot instead. Ideal Home Caesar would likely thrive with a loving family, couple, or individual looking for an affectionate, social dog. He enjoys children, gets along well with other dogs, and is friendly with people of all ages. He seems to have a particular fondness for men, while remaining warm and welcoming with everyone he meets. His favorite toy is a white duck squish toy, but a tennis ball, or nearly any ball at the park, will quickly win his heart. Caesar is ready to bring cuddles, calm companionship, and joyful play to his forever home.

Ivan is an all around great dog that gets along with all people, children, and other dogs. He walks well on the leash, does great in the car, and is ready for new adventures. He has been neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. He is house-trained, but he does not like being in a crate. Ivan does have a sister named Ivanka who is posted separately. It would be ideal to keep them together, but we are open to having them get adopted separately. Either one of these beautiful dogs would be a great addition to any loving family.

She knows that most huskies are found in shades of gray, but that just isn’t the life for this gingery gal – Jessie is a shining star in a sea of mutts and just had to show off her one-of-a-kind status. Jessie is kind of like her counterpart in Toy Story – this loyal lady is a friend for life. She’s hoping to meet someone to fill the best friend shaped hole in her heart and spend the rest of her days going on adventures with them. If you’re looking for a big, beautiful partner in crime, Jessie is the girl of your dreams! Here's some notes from her foster: Jessie is doing great! Her playfulness is starting to shine through after a few weeks here. She likes to prance and twirl around after doing her business in the backyard. She loves to make her bed just right. She’ll tap you on the leg when she’s looking for a good rubbing. She’s more confident on walks, still quiet, even as she watched a squirrel run across feet in front of her. Her eyes mesmerize. Her coat is enveloping. Her walks range from very sniffy to propulsive patrolling. On a straight stretch of sidewalk, at a good pace, she’ll sometimes edge closer to your calves, like a partner on the sled dog team. Otherwise, not very into dogs. On walks, she spots other dogs from a distance and works her way well around them, no leash straining or vocalizations, just attentive avoidance in most cases. Short cordial interactions with a few dogs, but no lingering, following. She explores every new space thoroughly, probing the edges even if it involves some tight squeezes. Sometimes she likes to rest underneath things - a chair, a bench, a dark closet under stairs. She pays curious attention to everything. She has not reacted to squirrels, strollers, vehicles. She’s been courteous to all people she’s met around me, though often not into chatting. She’s been walking 3-5 miles a day and has been sleeping soundly through the night. She prefers chicken to beef. She doesn’t hear much, but does hear some. She’s very quiet; she’s made almost no sounds around me. After a hot walk, she may paw her water a bit, so there’s a dog towel at the ready. She’s loves a good snuggle and has beautiful eyeliner.

Shaggy fur and beautiful blue eyes converge to give this sweet senior the stunning looks of a supermodel, and she’s just the sweetest, most good-natured pup you’ll ever meet. If you’re looking for a big dog to fill up space in your heart, Marley is the gal for you! Here's some notes from his foster : Marley is an absolute sweetheart, once she gets to know you ( a bit shy at first). My favorite thing was when she started "talking" to me- the a-whooing that huskies do when happy. a wonderful sound coming from her throat almost like a hum. she is such a happy girl with a human friend close by. She does some really funny, endearing things, mostly about walks. she will rub her head all over my hands and shoes, when I am lacing my tennies to go for our walk, and she jumps and talks like crazy when she sees her harness. she is a great walker, can go for a long time, and ignores other dogs walking by. she will follow you into any room in your house, and expect head rubs. I think her perfect day would start with a big stretch, some talking with me, food, a walk, then a nap until walk time again.
