While she used to be a bit of a handful to gear up, she has transformed into one of our most trusted companions. She is now the "go-to" dog for new volunteers to practice with and is a total pro at adoption events with people of all ages. Why We Love Monica:The Ultimate Socialite: Monica puts every dog she meets at ease. Her signature move? Swinging her backside toward new friends for a sniff, showing them immediate, full trust.Active & Athletic: This Husky mix is high-energy and lives for long walks. She even has some "parkour" moves she likes to show off during playdates!Fetch Champion: She's so smart she actually anticipates where you'll throw the toy and tries to outrun it.Quiet Companion: Despite her zest for life, Monica is surprisingly quiet and doesn't bark.Stunning Looks: She'll stop you in your tracks with her striking one blue eye and one hazel eye.Her Quirky SideMonica is so excited to get out into the world that she sometimes tries to "help" you put her harness on by jumping right into it! On walks, her curious nature takes over; she's a professional sniffer and loves finding little "treasures" to carry in her mouth.Volunteer Note: Monica has officially "done her time" at the shelter. She has graduated from our training with flying colors and is more than ready for a forever home that can match her love and energy.See Monica in Action!Watch her personality shine in her profile video:https://www.hsnb.org/youtube-monica-16539Includes a lifetime of affection, friendly tail wags, and happy memories.Won't you open your heart and home to this fun, happy girl? Her adoption fee is $250. If you do not receive confirmation from us, email adoptions@hsnb.org . -----Hi, I'm Finley, a happy girl with a sweet, affectionate personality. I'm slightly more petite than your average husky at 51 pounds and yes, I know I'm beautiful, but I won't be a showoff about it.My gentle energy would be right for walks and hikes but I'm not like my wild, wolfie cousins. I recently took a daycation with one of our volunteers an I got an A+ for awesomeness. I was good with people approaching and petting me, and I was extra gentle with children. And though I'm a bit standoffish about other dogs, with slow introductions and guidance, I could be a good friend to another confident gentle dog.If there's a home out there with a loving family or person who will love both my plushie coat and loyal nature, I'm waiting!Check out Finley's profile video here!https://www.hsnb.org/youtube-finley-16680My adoption fee is $250.  Primary Color: White Weight: 49 Age: 4yrs 6mths 0wks

She's the calm girl in her kennel, watching with those mismatched eyes-one blue, one brown-like she's asking, "So... what adventure are we going on today?" And trust us, she's up for anything. The moment you jiggle her kennel lock, BIANCA's excitement bubbles over into the cutest little whines and happy cries-so many emotions packed into the unique sounds she makes when she realizes she's been chosen. That enthusiasm? It's contagious. 💫On walks, BIANCA moves with grace, often trailing just behind other dogs, checking things out thoughtfully. Side by side, though, her playful scrappiness peeks through-endearing, spirited, and very husky. She's currently getting to know other dogs slowly and thoughtfully, and does best when introductions are done with care. This girl is buttery soft to pet and loves gentle affection. She checks in with you often while walking, looking back with those soulful eyes-her loyalty quietly shining through every glance. 🐾BIANCA has lived in a foster home and enjoys toys, especially chewing, so a home where freedom is given in thoughtful stages will help her succeed as trust is built. Her kennel is always spotless, a small reflection of her gentle nature.BIANCA is a beauty with a tender heart, a mischievous spark, and an undeniable bond waiting to form. Once you see how excited she gets when you choose her... your heart won't stand a chance. 💙🤎https://youtube.com/shorts/yHDATzb_CggAdoption fee: $300Interested in fostering?https://www.hsnb.org/volunteer-fosterSee you soon! 💕 Primary Color: White Weight: 65.8 Age: 3yrs 8mths 0wks

If you do not receive confirmation from us, email adoptions@hsnb.org . -----Elvis is a happy-go-lucky 64-pound husky mix with a giant smile and sparkling blue eyes. He came to HSNB with a small dog, and has been good with other dogs at the shelter. Currently, he is the only dog who can exhaust Monica -- one of our most energetic dogs -- and he continues to be infinitely patient and brotherly with her. Elvis LOVES attention; he will happily put his front paws on your lap and relish in your affection, and he'll roll over for a belly rub every chance he gets. This boy is very smart and he very much appreciates quality time from humans. He acts tough and talks a lot, but he is such a snuggly teddy bear in his kennel. He's house-trained and knows the "sit" command. He's food motivated and eager to please, and his tail wags constantly when practicing and learning new things. He also enjoys toys!Elvis walks like a champ and loves to pose for photos as he knows how incredibly gorgeous he is at every angle. (Tough to be so handsome, isn't it, Elvis?)
