My name is Duggie, I’m a very loving and energetic boy. I love everyone and everything, but I can be too rough for young kids since I love to be on the go 24/7. I do need someone who is experienced with training dogs (I know how to do certain things but choose not to). I love to jump up and give kisses, I want to play all the time. I don’t like being separated though. I’d do best sleeping in the same room as you. I love to cob people, it’s how I show my love. For playing I love chasing, and running, I don’t care much for fetch. It was like getting up at 3 am in the morning for infant feedings but it was for a potty break.When I was going through my separation and divorce, he licked me to wake me up in the morning, loved being at the foot of my bed, and kept me being needed in a way that helped me get back to "loving and caring for others" which inadvertantly nursed me back to health.As a strong and independent person, this was and is a very challenging time in my life because I feel the most vulnerable.It truly pains my heart to have to rehome Moses. He was originally adopted two years ago by two college students, but one owner stopped participating shortly after. The remaining owner has cared for him ever since but must now rehome him because his new housing does not allow dogs. I am currently caring for Bolt temporarily while we find him a safe, permanent home.Bolt is:• A 2-year-old male Husky• Neutered, house-trained, and leash-trained• Affectionate, energetic, and very playful• Well-trained and knows several commands• Generally well-behaved and does not bark excessively• A fan of playing fetch and cuddling near peopleHe is very trainable and responds well to guidance. He is a Siberian Husky born in June 2024. I adopted him from a shelter in October 2024 when he was about four months old. He is now a little over two years old. I’m looking for a loving, responsible home where he will have plenty of space, attention, exercise, and someone who understands the needs of an active breed like a Husky. I would love for him to go to a home where he can be cared for long-term and treated as part of the family. He is a beautiful, energetic, intelligent dog with a lot of personality.
