Story
Meet Echo! Echo is an 1 year-old “super mutt” with a small-to-medium frame and a big, lovable personality. She’s the perfect mix of energetic playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. This smart girl learns quickly, behaves beautifully in the home, and has a natural protective streak that makes her feel like your very own little guardian. Echo adores playing with other dogs, chewing on her Kongs, crunching ice cubes, and—surprisingly—baths! After a good play session, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for snuggles. When meeting new people, Echo can be wary of sudden movements, so a gentle intro helps her feel safe. She’s also not a fan of stuffed animals, but give her a durable toy and she’s in heaven. Echo is ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet mix of energy, affection, and smarts. If you’re looking for a young dog who will love you fiercely and keep you laughing, Echo might be your perfect match! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Adoption Fee: $250 – includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing/treatment if needed, deworming, flea prevention, and a registered microchip. To apply, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at: www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt This application doesn’t commit you to adoption—it helps us make sure the home is the right fit. We also verify vet history for current/previous pets, so please call your vet to give permission for us to contact them. For more info, email us at info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to be approved to meet Echo.June 14, 2026, 4:06 pm

Story
Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have “the grace of a Great Dane,” but that just adds to his charm. Jax’s ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He’s an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he’s already got his basic training down. While he’s a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you’re looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Story
Pure is a beautiful Australian Shepherd husky mix.  She is a big girl with a big smile!  She loves laying in the morning sun and playing with squeaky toys (mainly to get that squeaker out!).  She is very loving with people, loves to cuddle, and get belly rubs.  Although a little anxious around other dogs, she does tolerate them.  Come see if Pure could be your next running companion!      June 15, 2026, 9:51 am

Story
'Courtesy Post' This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting with placing a pet.  Bones was rescued by CCHS from the street very, very malnourished and neglected trying to defend for himself. Bones is a very sweet boy who just loves to give and receive all the LOVE in the world. He had fought against all odds handed to him to live and seek the life he so desperately deserves. He came to CCHS frightened, scared, malnourished and feeling defeated. He quickly picked up the name Bones from us not just because of his appearance but he was bad to the bone strong and showed so much courage and will to thrive. We put him on a complete loving care treatment and he regained his strength, optimal weight, opened up to trusting us and blossoming up with his full loving personality. Bones gets along with children and other dogs. He would make a great addition to your home and family. Bones is in great health and ready to be adopted into his forever home.  Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $300 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them. If more information is needed regarding the pet email info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to obtain approval to meet the pet.  June 15, 2026, 9:51 am

Story
Meet Winter: A Vibrant 2-Year-Old Husky Mix Ready for Adventure! Winter is an intelligent, highly affectionate, and energetic companion looking for an active forever home. True to her heritage, she has a joyful, expressive personality and thrives when she is on the move—making her the perfect partner for running, hiking, or playing in a secure yard. Why She is Available: Her owner recently transitioned to a demanding, full-time career. Because these new hours would require Winter to be crated for long periods during the day, we are proactively seeking a home that matches her social and athletic needs. She deserves an environment where she can run and thrive, rather than wait in a crate. Ideal Match: An active individual, couple, or family who can provide daily physical exercise and mental stimulation. A fenced yard or a work-from-home schedule is highly preferred. Serious inquiries only. Please message to arrange a meet-and-greet.

Story
Kaizen is a 4yr old sweet, loving and gentle dog. He’s a little talkative when he’s in the mood, loves to play especially hide and seek, he rarely barks unless he feels threatened, he’s home and crate trained, he loves watching dog movies and relaxing, even though he’s a Siberian husky he likes to sun bathe, he’s enjoys dried foods and cooked foods. My husband has been having sinus issues and after seeing an allergist found out he’s allergic to pet dander so unfortunately we have to rehome our sweet boy. He’s been in daycare and the parks lot so he’s used to playing with other dogs his size, he’s never been aggressive nor has ever bitten anyone. He’ll come with an extra large crate, bed, , grooming kit, toys, leash, collar, harness, heart worm, flea medicine and what’s left of his dried food.

These pups are in Jackson, Georgia too!

Story
Nori looks to be a possible Shepherd or Alaksa Malamute or Husky mix with her stunning white coat and speckled black spots plus that cute fluffy tail. We believe Nori is less than 2 years old and is ready to find her furever family. She would make a great walking or hiking buddy or a sweet companion to snuggle with at the end of your day. Nori listens well, comes when called, she is house trained, loves her toys, will play fetch and knows "sit" for treats and her dinner, which she loves! Also Nori is not a jumper...she greets you with her happy self and will come sit by your feet and wait for you to pet her. Such a wonderful trait for a large dog. Her favorite part of her day is spending time with her foster mom who says she is a wonderful dog who needs a little guideness to become an amazing dog. If you are interested in meeting Nori and making her part of your family the next step is to fill out the adoption application at buttsmutts.com. ##2365540##
