Story
Meet Jax! Jax is an one year old super mutt with a small-to-medium build and the calm, gentle energy of a much older dog — with a goofy streak that makes him absolutely irresistible. He may have “the grace of a Great Dane,” but that just adds to his charm. Jax’s ideal day includes napping in a cozy spot, exploring the yard, stretching out in the grass, and happily chewing on his favorite toys. He’s an easygoing pup who loves simple pleasures and brings a peaceful presence to any home. He gets along wonderfully with his sister and his foster dog siblings, and he’s already got his basic training down. While he’s a champ at home life, he can be sensitive to loud noises, so a patient family that can offer reassurance during those moments would be perfect for him. Jax is gentle, sweet, and quietly funny — the kind of dog who becomes your steady companion without ever demanding too much. If you’re looking for a laid-back buddy with a big heart, Jax might be the one! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Adoption Fee: $250 – includes age-appropriate vaccinations, spay/neuter, heartworm testing/treatment if needed, deworming, flea prevention, and a registered microchip. To apply, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at: www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt This application doesn’t commit you to adoption—it helps us ensure the best match for both you and the pet. We verify vet history for current/previous pets, so please call your vet to give permission for us to contact them. For more info, email us at info@streetpaws.org. You must complete the pre-application to be approved to meet me.April 27, 2026, 1:52 pm

Story
Meet Echo! Echo is an 1 year-old “super mutt” with a small-to-medium frame and a big, lovable personality. She’s the perfect mix of energetic playmate and loyal cuddle buddy. This smart girl learns quickly, behaves beautifully in the home, and has a natural protective streak that makes her feel like your very own little guardian. Echo adores playing with other dogs, chewing on her Kongs, crunching ice cubes, and—surprisingly—baths! After a good play session, she’s more than happy to curl up next to you for snuggles. When meeting new people, Echo can be wary of sudden movements, so a gentle intro helps her feel safe. She’s also not a fan of stuffed animals, but give her a durable toy and she’s in heaven. Echo is ready for a family who will appreciate her sweet mix of energy, affection, and smarts. If you’re looking for a young dog who will love you fiercely and keep you laughing, Echo might be your perfect match! --- Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150-mile radius from Locust Grove, GA (with some exceptions). Story
Pure is a beautiful Australian Shepherd husky mix.  She is a big girl with a big smile!  She loves laying in the morning sun and playing with squeaky toys (mainly to get that squeaker out!).  She is very loving with people, loves to cuddle, and get belly rubs.  Although a little anxious around other dogs, she does tolerate them.  Come see if Pure could be your next running companion!      April 27, 2026, 1:52 pm

Story
Hello! Me and my husband are needing to rehome our 6 year old husky Zues (2020). Zues is a Siberian husky. He has had all his puppy shots I know but I’m not sure of his older shots. He is a really sweet and chill boy who loves to lay about on the couch. He is very good with listening to his owners, interacting with kids and cats. He can be aggressive to other dogs he doesn’t know as growing up another dog in the home was aggressive towards him. Because of this he will need to be slowly introduced if there are other dogs in the home. He loves to go on hikes and car rides and does great walking on leash. We are looking to rehome as we both do not have the time to dedicate to his enrichment and activities as we tend to be out of the house 12-14 hours a day.

Story
Carmen and Juni were abandoned by their owner who dropped them off at my boarding facility and never came back to pick up the dogs. Both of them are fully vacinated and they are only 16 month old. I would like to see both of them get adopted by the same person(s) since they came together. Serious inquires only.
