Story
Hi friends! Oakley is a full bread husky. Oakley is 6 years old and he is the most family oriented and loving pup. Oakley is full of energy and has a habit of trying to escape.. as huskies are known for. When not being adventurous he is laid back and enjoys pets and snuggles from his humans. He has been through basic training and is fully crate/house trained. The main reason for rehoming is an extremely busy family schedule and the addition of another child. We want the absolute best for our pup. We desire someone or a family who has plenty of room for him to run, play, go on walks and maybe even lounge on the couch. Currently he spends too much time in a crate and we want him to live out the rest of his days free and happy! He will be up to date on shots prior to adoption. He is not fit for a house with very small dogs or cats Thanks for considering Oakley as your new best friend!

Story
This pet's adoption fee is sponsored by the Zach Schneider Memorial Fund, created in memory of Zach Schneider, who loved pets and fostered for Gateway Pet Guardians. Groove took his rescue into his own paws. After becoming injured, he hobbled up to one of our local community members for help. Thankfully, they knew just who to call! This sweet and friendly guy is healing up and doing great. And throughout this whole process, he has been nothing but a certified good boy! If you are interested in a meet and greet for adoption for Groove, please fill out an application on our website at www.gatewaypets.org/adopt. If you are interested in learning more about Groove or the adoption process at GPG, please email placement@gatewaypets.org All of our dogs and cats will be microchipped, spayed or neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations at the time of adoption. For more photos of Groove, follow us on Facebook Gateway Pet Guardians and Instagram @gatewaypets ... #gpgGroove. To view other adoptable pets from our shelter, please visit, www.gatewaypets.org/adopt. Gateway Pet Guardians is proud to offer a variety of mixed breed dogs available for adoption. However, please keep in mind that we rarely know the genetic background of the animals we rescue and, as such, we cannot guarantee the exact breed combinations found within this dog. Therefore, we do not know his/her actual genetic makeup. Just know that this dog is probably a variety of several different breeds that have combined to create one very amazing and unique animal.

Story
Kodiak is a 1.5-year-old Husky mix with the spirit of a happy snowstorm and the charm of a professional goofball. One look at him and you’ll notice his eyes first — the brightest icy blue, so pale they almost shimmer white, like tiny winter moons keeping watch. He’s playful to his core, the kind of dog who can turn a simple toy into a full-on celebration. Give him something squeaky or bouncy and he’s all in, tail spinning like a little propeller. Wonderfully food motivated, Kodiak is a quick study. He already knows sit, shake, and lay down, performing each one with the proud flourish of a dog who knows he’s absolutely crushing it. He’s eager to please, eager to learn, and eager for affection... honestly, he’s just eager for everything. After his joyful zoom sessions, Kodiak happily shifts into cuddle mode, soaking up every ounce of attention like it’s his favorite treat. He’s a bright, silly, affectionate boy looking for someone who appreciates a little extra sparkle in their daily life.
