Story
Eowyn (pronounced "A O win") is a very wonderful dog. I drove down to Texas to pick her up from a dear friend who is battling pancreatic cancer and could no longer take care of her. When I got home with her to Illinois, I immediately found out that she is NOT compatible with other animals, especially cats. She is a VERY loving dog, very emotionally supportive and she LOVES all people!!!! Please help me find her a forever home. She just cannot be with any other pets or animals. The very minute you meet her you will fall in love with her. I live in Belleville, IL and am willing to transport her within 200 mile radius, or even further if necessary

Story
I am fostering Kato from a friend who adopted him. He had one owner for his 9 years. They surrendered him because they had a new baby. Kato is very relaxed, likes walks and long naps. I give him a zinc supplement everyday for a husky zinc-deficiency issue that he seems to have. He's up-to-date on all his shots. He weighs 80 pounds. I cannot keep him forever because my house is not big enough for him and my two giant breed adult dogs that I have raised from puppies! He would make a great, cheerful addition to many homes!

Story
This pretty girl is Jada.  It has been pointed out by someone who has had Carolina Dogs that Jada is likely one herself.  After reading about the breed the foster mom is sure she is.  She is guessed to be 3 years old and about 60 lbs.  She is smart, affectionate, high energy and vocal.  She would do best with a fenced yard or another play mate.  She loves to run, play and roughhouse with the other young dogs in her foster home.  She can be a bully to older and or very submissive dogs   She is housebroke and goes into her crate easily.  She is very intelligent and learned sit, down and shake paw in a matter of minutes.  She will make a great dog for a family but is probably too high energy for toddlers and younger .   If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Jada’s adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip. We are a 100% foster-based rescue and all of our dogs live in approved foster homes. We are dedicated to finding the best Forever Homes, and will perform home visits and conduct veterinarian and reference checks for each potential adopter. Story
** REQUIRES 6 FT FENCE **   Breccia is a beautiful 2 year old, 60 lb, blue eyed Husky mix.   She loves adventures and friends! She can be active and go hiking or be a couch potato at home. She loves toys and wrestling with her dog friends. She can be chatty like a husky but not overly vocal.    Breccia is the best dog with kids, all kids! She is a real people pleaser that aims to please. She loves her dog friends too but she is head over heels with a playful male dog! She is a flirt and prefers males over females when it comes to her furry companions.   She is nondestructive in a home and can be kenneled or left out. Fully Potty trained! She does require a 6 ft fence. She has never tried to escape my privacy fence but I am told she previously jumped a 4 ft fence. Although she does not jump babygates in our home.      If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Story
Neo is a beautiful 1 1/2 year old husky.  He is housebroken, crate trained and good with other dogs.  We are not sure about cats.  He loves his people and wants to be with them.  We are told he’s good with children but would likely be too much for toddlers.  He needs a fenced in yard but can climb a chain link but only seems to do it when trying to get to his people.  You would not be able to leave him outside without being able to come in and check on you.    He has a doggie door situation at his foster him where he can do this.  He would do best in a home where he has a high energy playmate or where someone can run or exercise him.  He can be dominate so tends to pick on the older and more submissive dogs in his foster home.  He’s affectionate and a good boy that needs the right home and someone who is familiar with huskies or have done their research on the breed.  If you are interested, complete the  Adoption Application  on our website at  www.NeedyPaws.org  and we will contact you.  Adopters must live within an hour’s drive of St. Louis, MO. Neo's adoption fee is $275.00, which includes up-to-date vaccinations, heartworm testing and preventative, spay/neuter and microchip.
