Meet Olaf the 11mth puppy! Olaf is a sweet, goofy and playful puppy with the cutest underbite! He has been DNA tested and his results came back as followed- 41% Siberian Husky 29% American Pit Bull Terrier 16% American Staffordshire Terrier 6% American Bulldog 4% Rottweiler He loves meeting new doggy friends and does good with friends of all shapes and sizes, although he does tend to play pretty rough. He does best with other energetic, rowdy and playful friends! Olaf has a very quirky personality. He is the class clown at doggy daycare. He loves jumping like a pogo stick and he often trips over his very long legs that he has yet grown into. If you are looking for a silly and awkward pup- Olaf may be your guy! He does have an old leg injury that sometimes causes an occasional minor limp. He has been seen by a specialist, and it is determined that he does not require any special care or further appointments. His limp was very severe when he was a small puppy, however it has become less and less noticeable as he grows! Olaf is house trained and crate trained. For being half husky, he is a very quiet boy and is not a big barker/howler. He would make a great apartment dog if there were no breed restrictions (and he gets ample exercise)! He can be quite the stubborn boy at times, but he is highly treat motivated. He is still working on not jumping up on people. Olaf is up to date on vaccines, neutered, HW- and microchipped. Meet Izzy! This one-year-old, 38-pound husky mix is ready to be the dog of your dreams! Izzy is highly trainable and already knows how to sit and give paw. She appreciates all sorts of treats and takes them very gently. Affectionate and curious, Izzy likes to be close to her people. She's a great combo of attentive and playful. You just have to meet her for yourself! Izzy recently went on an outing with one of our volunteers and had the best time! They hit the trail and Izzy enjoyed exploring everything around her. They ran into a furry friend on the trail and Izzy immediately went into a play bow, eager to become friends. Pet Supplies Plus was the next stop where Izzy soaked up all the attention she could and was very well-behaved. At the end of her adventure, she fell asleep in the car on the way back to the rescue and went right into her kennel once they arrived. She's also a fan of pup cups too! As she is still a young lady, Izzy will need lots of daily exercise, continued training, and a yard to enjoy in her new home. She will thrive in an environment where she can be kept mentally and physically stimulated. Her confident and caring nature will make her a great fit for one lucky family. Based on our evaluation, we feel Izzy would do best in an active home with adults or families with kids ages five and up. She may have the potential to live with other animals and we are happy to do a meet and greet with your family fur baby. I am a little timid and quiet by nature, but my gentle and low-key personality makes me the perfect companion for anyone seeking a calm and loving presence in their life. While I may be a bit fearful of new things, my curiosity and desire for affection always win me over. I just need a little time to adjust and feel safe. In a quieter, more predictable home, I know I can truly shine. I would love nothing more than to find someone who understands my sensitive soul and can offer me the patience and love I need to thrive. My ideal day involves plenty of cuddles, ear scratches and toys, they seem to really perk me up and bring out the sillies in me! Deuce is a typical large breed dog- slow moving, calm, and laid back with short playful bursts of energy. He loves people and other dogs. Deuce knows sit, down, high five, shake, wait, stay, off and leave it. He is fully house trained and is currently in foster with an older male and younger female dog. His favorite things to do include time with his people, hikes, car rides and playtime, especially with other dogs. Deuce needs a knowledgeable and active adopter who can keep him challenged and set limits. Deuce initially displayed some food guarding at the kennel. This is not apparent in his foster care. However, his adopter will need to continue working with him so that it does not resurface. He needs an adult only home. Deuce would love a fenced in yard to safely explore. Elsa’s Story 🐾 Elsa became part of our family in 2023 when we adopted her, and from the beginning, she quickly became an important part of our family. Elsa is playful, energetic, and always ready for some fun. She especially loves long walks, exploring her surroundings, and spending time outside. She has plenty of energy and always seems ready for the next adventure. She is also very protective of the people she loves. At the same time, Elsa is very obedient and well-behaved. She listens well and has a wonderful personality that makes her a great companion. Unfortunately, due to my increasingly busy schedule and work commitments, I can no longer give Elsa the time, attention, exercise, and companionship she deserves. This is a very difficult decision because Elsa has been part of our family since 2023, and we love her very much. My biggest priority now is finding Elsa a loving home where someone can give her the time and attention she deserves. She is a wonderful dog.
