She is a beautiful dog and behaves very well. She is playful and five years old. His birthday is on January 5th. He has a lot of energy but during the day he likes to sleep a lot. I love her but I just had a baby and it makes dogs allergic. My heart hurts but I hope to find a family that loves her and takes care of her a lot.

A husky and a pit bull - sure, this produced one of the most stunning dogs we've ever seen. He's brilliant, loves to watch planes fly overhead and learn about everything going on. But he is incredibly strong, and requires an experienced handler. He is also LOUD as he inherited the husky vocals. Not everyone will understand why a dog is barking or howling at them, he will need someone who understands that he's just trying to communicate something all of the time. Only one year old, he will calm down significantly in another year or so. But right now he wants to run and explore and play hard. He also wants to sleep right beside you. Remmy remembers being abandoned from a car... and breaks down a little if we drive him somewhere without another dog in the car - we think he is afraid he will be left behind. Remmy might have a hard time on that last car ride to his adopter... and he might be guarded for a while like he was with us. We have taught him that hugs and pets are good, and nurtured his loyal side. We aren't sure anyone will be good enough for him, it is purely up to Remmy - the right person will understand, and show him that there is a Happily Ever After beyond his foster home. I believe we convinced him when he was given up... we need someone to help us with his final transfer because between Remmy and me, I worry about the tears there are to shed... Remmy comes fixed with his rabies vaccine and distemper shots. He was dewormed, and on topical flea prevention. His blue eyes will steal your heart - I wish someone had warned me, so I am warning you.

Visit our FAQ webpage for commonly asked questions about our adoption/foster process. ​Triscuit is an absolute lovebug looking for a snuggle buddy. He wants to be pet as much as possible and will make his feelings known by putting his head under your arm if you aren’t petting him. He has a somewhat limited understanding of personal space and prefers to spend his time on top of someone. He is a bit timid, but gets over it pretty quickly when he realizes there are treats and pets available. Triscuit is unfortunately heartworm positive and will need an adopter who will continue his treatment. LDDR will cover the cost, but he will need to be kept calm and on restricted activity until he gets the all clear from the vet. While he isn’t allowed to run around now, he still has a bit of energy that slows that he would love to run around and play once he is able. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal.
