I'm Prince, a striking tan and white Husky mix with adventure running through my veins! 🐕 At just over 1 yr. old, who loves to play and chat — I've got plenty of personality and spirit to share. I'm already neutered and ready to join an active household where I can burn off steam and explore the world alongside you! I'm looking for someone who can match my energy and give me the exciting life I crave! 🐾✨ According to his previous owner, Prince lived with six children ranging in age from 4–17 years old and did very well with them. While he didn't live with other dogs, he enjoyed playing with visiting family dogs. Prince is a young, high-energy and when he's bored, he's not afraid to share his opinion—he loves to sing and talk! Around 1 yr. old Currently 56 lbs. Adoption fee: $175.00 This dog is currently housed at our shelter. If you are interested, please come in at your earliest availability during our open hours, no appointment necessary. We do same-day adoptions, do not hold dogs, and work on a first-come, first-served basis as long as it is an excellent fit for both parties. If you have questions or want to possibly schedule an appointment on one of our closed days, you may email dogs@adoptapetfenton.com. Dog adoption fees include spay/neuter, rabies vaccine (if age-appropriate), distemper/parvo combination vaccine, leptospirosis vaccine (if age-appropriate), bordetella vaccine, deworming, heartworm test (if age appropriate), heartworm preventative, flea preventative, a dental cleaning (if necessary), and a microchip. Future vaccines, tests, and treatments will be the responsibility of the adopter.

FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT NEEDED FOR LUCY This beautiful girl is 4 years old, about 30 lbs., and believed to be a Husky/Pomeranian mix. Before coming to CCRC, Lucy was used for breeding and had never even stepped outside. Imagine experiencing the world for the very first time at four years old. Lucy has been slowly learning that life can be safe, kind, and even fun. She has already made so much progress, but now she needs a foster home or even better, a foster-to-adopt home Lucy will need a safe, quiet space in the home where she can decompress and acclimate. She needs someone patient who understands that new things will take her a little longer. She has done amazing with the dogs she has met, so another friendly, confident dog could be a wonderful companion for her. And you won’t be doing this alone. CCRC will set both you AND Lucy up for success. We provide the supplies, guidance, transportation and support you need along the way. Lucy has spent enough of her life simply existing. Most dogs at CCRC are obtained from animal control centers so there is often very little known about their history or current habits. You can always expect to do some training, regardless of whether you adopt a dog or a puppy, including crate training, house training, and basic manners. Hello, my name is Edna, and I am a sweet girl with the most adorable heart shaped nose, and I am looking for a family to love. I am about a year old and weigh 42 pounds and the nice volunteers here at the rescue say I have the most beautiful brindle coloring and think I am gorgeous! I am a little timid and quiet by nature, but my gentle and low-key personality makes me the perfect companion for anyone seeking a calm and loving presence in their life. While I may be a bit fearful of new things, my curiosity and desire for affection always win me over. I just need a little time to adjust and feel safe. In a quieter, more predictable home, I know I can truly shine. I would love nothing more than to find someone who understands my sensitive soul and can offer me the patience and love I need to thrive. My ideal day involves plenty of cuddles, ear scratches and toys, they seem to really perk me up and bring out the sillies in me! I may not be the most outgoing pup, but I am loyal and affectionate, always seeking attention and closeness with my special person. If you're looking for a best friend who is a little more reserved and content with the simple pleasures in life, then I am the dog for you. Deuce is a typical large breed dog- slow moving, calm, and laid back with short playful bursts of energy. He loves people and other dogs. Deuce knows sit, down, high five, shake, wait, stay, off and leave it. He is fully house trained and is currently in foster with an older male and younger female dog. His favorite things to do include time with his people, hikes, car rides and playtime, especially with other dogs. Deuce needs a knowledgeable and active adopter who can keep him challenged and set limits. Deuce initially displayed some food guarding at the kennel. This is not apparent in his foster care. However, his adopter will need to continue working with him so that it does not resurface. He needs an adult only home. Deuce would love a fenced in yard to safely explore.
