Meet Cimmaron! This 64-pound, four-year-old husky mix is as cool as they come! Handsome and house-trained, Cimarron is ready to impress. Like most huskies, he loves the snow! A fan of ear and face rubs, Cimarron is content just to be near his people. When he's not outside enjoying the winter wonderland, Cimarron prefers to lay quietly on his dog bed, chillaxing the day away. When it comes to other pups, Cimarron is pretty indifferent, but has done well with the male and female shepherds he has been living with. He hasn't been interested in engaging in play, and instead is content to lay near the other pups. He's admittedly a bit picky when it comes to his food, but his foster family has found out he prefers meaty food and treats best. Cimarron isn't too interested in toys just yet, but does enjoy elk horns! Cimarron tolerated bath time very well and seems to enjoy grooming. He's good on leash with a harness and will need a capable handler. A tall, physical fenced-in yard will be a requirement for him given his curious nature and prey drive. An adopter with breed experience is preferred. Cimarron will thrive in a home with continued training, routine, and daily exercise. Based on our evaluation, we feel Cimarron would do best in an active but predictable home with adults or families with kids ages 12 and up. He may have the capacity to live with other dogs, but a home free of cats and small animals is required. We are happy to do a meet and greet with your family pup. Not only is Chet super unique with his imperfect grin and different colored eyes, he is one smart dude! He knows sit, takes his treats well, and enjoys doing food puzzles. We are able to take food/toys away with no issue. He's so much fun to be with! A fellow that enjoys life's simple pleasures, Chet is very tolerant and enjoys a nice full body rub. This 52-pound, three-year-old humble husky mix is looking for a devoted family who will provide him with all the love and comfort he deserves! Johni is currently enjoying some time away in a fabulous foster home and we've learned so much about him! House-trained and crate-trained, Johni aims to please. Johni enjoys the company of other pups and plays well with them! His submissive personality makes him an excellent pal for other fur babies! It can take our timid boy some time to build trust, but once he does, get ready to cuddle to the max! He's a very affectionate fellow who will happily curl up on the couch next to his people. A fan of all sorts of bones, Johni appreciates the simple things. His foster family is able to take both toys and treats away with no issue. Johni loves his time outside and needs a tall physical fence to keep him safe. He promises to keep your yard squirrel free too! Johni walks very well on his leash and also rides well in the car (though he will need some encouragement getting in). He will benefit from continued training and daily exercise in his new home. Deuce is a typical large breed dog- slow moving, calm, and laid back with short playful bursts of energy. He loves people and other dogs. Deuce knows sit, down, high five, shake, wait, stay, off and leave it. He is fully house trained and is currently in foster with an older male and younger female dog. His favorite things to do include time with his people, hikes, car rides and playtime, especially with other dogs. Deuce needs a knowledgeable and active adopter who can keep him challenged and set limits. Deuce initially displayed some food guarding at the kennel. This is not apparent in his foster care. However, his adopter will need to continue working with him so that it does not resurface. He needs an adult only home. Deuce would love a fenced in yard to safely explore. Meet Olaf the 6mth Pit/Husky! Olaf is a sweet, goofy and playful puppy with the cutest underbite! He has been DNA tested and his results came back as followed- 41% Siberian Husky 29% American Pit Bull Terrier 16% American Staffordshire Terrier 6% American Bulldog 4% Rottweiler Olaf can be a little shy when meeting new people but once he is comfortable, he is a complete love bug. He loves meeting new doggy friends and does great with friends of all shapes and sizes, although he does tend to play pretty rough. Olaf has recently been dealing with some inconsistent mobility issues (limping, falling over) and was referred to a neurologist. After evaluations and further testing with his specialist, we have concluded that these mobility issues are due to a past trauma when he was a small puppy. Unfortunately, there is no further treatment that can be done. With this being said, he does not seem to be affected or bothered by this at all and he does not require any special care. Most days, he acts like a normal puppy, and you would not be able to tell he has old trauma. On a “bad” day, he may have an on and off right leg limp and strenuous activity should be avoided. Olaf is still working on potty training and needs a consistent and patient family who is willing to take him out frequently. He has been doing well if he goes out every few hours. He is crate trained and knows his basic commands. For being half husky, he is a very quiet boy and is not a big barker/howler. He would make a great apartment dog if there are no breed restrictions! He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, HW- and microchipped. Olaf would make the perfect addition to almost any household! He is such a sweet boy with a lot of love to give!
