Story
Juno is a handsome 7-year-old, 85 pound, Husky looking for an experienced, active home that understands and appreciates this incredible breed. Like many Huskies, Juno is intelligent, energetic, and happiest when he has a job to do or an adventure to enjoy.Juno loves going for walks and is a pleasure on a leash. He enjoys getting out and exploring, and he would thrive with a family that enjoys hiking, walking, or spending time outdoors. He also plays well with other large dogs and would enjoy having a canine companion of similar size and energy level.Because of his strong prey drive, Juno cannot live in a home with cats or chickens. He will need a secure environment when outside. Juno must either be kept on a tether or have access to a securely fenced yard with a minimum 6-foot wooden privacy fence. Huskies are known for their ability to escape and roam, so proper containment is essential.Juno is not a couch potato. He loves being outdoors and needs regular physical exercise and mental stimulation to stay happy and healthy. Puzzle toys, training activities, walks, hikes, and other enrichment opportunities will help keep this smart boy engaged. He is not recommended to go to a home with any small animals cats including.Juno is searching for a home with people who are familiar with the Husky breed and understand their unique needs. Huskies are wonderful companions, but they are not the right fit for everyone. The ideal adopter will be committed to providing the structure, activity, and supervision Juno needs to thrive. If you`re looking for a loyal, active companion to share your adventures and understand what it means to own a Husky, Juno may be the perfect match for you!If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED

Meet Bryn! One look into Bryn`s breathtaking ice-blue eyes, and you`ll understand why everyone falls in love with her. This gorgeous one-year-old Husky/Pit Bull mix has a stunning coat, a gentle soul, and so much potential just waiting to shine.Bryn is still learning that the world can be a safe and happy place. Since arriving at MCAC, she has already begun to blossom alongside her new canine friends, and it`s been wonderful watching her confidence grow a little more each day. She arrived underweight, so she`s currently enjoying regular meals and learning to take treats gently. A slow-feeder will be a great tool to help her continue building healthy eating habits. As Bryn settles into her new life, she`ll benefit from patient adopters who are willing to help her continue building confidence and polishing her manners. She`s looking for a family that understands trust isn`t built overnight and is happy to let her move at her own pace. Every small milestone is a big victory for this sweet girl, and once she feels safe, her loving personality continues to emerge.Bryn is up-to-date on all of her vaccines and will be available through our foster-to-adopt program until after her spay appointment. If you`re looking for a loyal companion and have the patience to help a shy girl discover just how wonderful life can be, Bryn may be the perfect addition to your family. Come meet her—you just might be the person she`s been waiting for.If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100

Story
Hi, I`m Snacks, and if there`s one thing you should know about me, it`s that I absolutely love treats! They’re the quickest way to my heart.I`m a young, energetic girl who`s still learning the ropes when it comes to playing with other dogs. I get so excited to run around and have fun with my canine friends, and I`m continuing to build my social skills. With patient guidance, I`ll keep growing into a great playmate.People are my favorite, too! I love to play, and you`ll often see me doing adorable play bows to invite you to join in. When playtime is over, I`m a sweet, affectionate girl who enjoys spending time with my people. Need to go into a home with a yard and an active home. I also have lovely leash manners and enjoy going for walks.Because I`m an active, intelligent breed, I wouldn`t be the best fit for apartment living. I`ll thrive in a home where I have space to stretch my legs and an adopter who understands the needs of my breed and can provide the structure, enrichment, and exercise I need to be my happiest self.If you`re looking for a fun, loving companion who`s ready for adventures, treats, and plenty of playtime, I might just be the perfect match. I can`t wait to meet my forever family! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is Sponsored

She has never met a stranger and greets everyone she meets like they`re her new best friend. Her favorite way to say hello? Jumping up to shower you with all the kisses you could ever want!Enya is a social butterfly who absolutely loves other dogs. Whether she`s zooming around the yard, chasing her canine friends, or enjoying a good wrestling match, she`s happiest when she has a playmate to share the fun with.As a young Husky, Enya is looking for an active family that can keep up with her adventurous spirit. She`ll thrive in a home where she gets plenty of daily exercise, playtime, and quality time with her people. Because she loves to run and explore, Enya will require a securely fenced backyard where she can safely stretch her legs and burn off some energy.Enya is also blessed with a gorgeous thick double coat that makes her as beautiful as she is lovable. To keep her coat healthy and looking its best, she`ll need regular brushing and occasional grooming.Enya is not a good match for a home with cats, so she`ll need a feline-free household. If you`re ready to welcome a happy, affectionate, playful companion who will fill your days with laughter, adventures, and endless kisses, Enya is ready to meet you. She can`t wait to find the family she`ll love forever! If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is $100
