Meet Kahlua!!! The the sweetest 10-week-old puppy with the cutest little personality! Kahlua is the perfect mix of playful and cuddly. She loves going for walks, playing with her dog friends, and exploring the world around her—but once playtime is over, she’s happiest curled up next to you for snuggles and naps. She’s working hard on potty training and is already puppy pad trained. She’ll even run to the door when she needs to go outside. Kahlua is a very easygoing puppy with a moderate energy level—she enjoys walks, adventures, and playtime, but she’s definitely not overly hyper. She settles down quickly and loves cuddle time most of all. Car rides? No problem—Kahlua is calm and happy to tag along. She adores kids of all ages, from toddlers to older children, and absolutely loves other dogs. She does great with cats too and mostly ignores them. Her prey drive is basically nonexistent, making her a wonderful fit for a variety of homes. She walks well on a leash for such a young pup and already knows commands like sit, paw, touch, and kennel. If you’re looking for a sweet, gentle, loving puppy who will be your best friend and cuddle buddy, Kalhua is ready to steal your heart! *Estimated DOB 3/16/2026 *Spayed, UTD on vaccines, microchipped & Fecal Tested *Dogs, cat and kid friendly *Super snuggly Apply Here: https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Story
Meet Ripley: The Tiny, Fearless Chaos Coordinator If you've ever wondered what would happen if a sheepdog, a comedian, and a squeaky chicken toy were combined into one adorable package, allow us to introduce you to Ripley. Ripley is 100% blind, 100% deaf, and approximately 1,000% convinced she can do anything. And to be honest? She's usually right. Ripley navigates her world entirely through her nose, her touch cues, and sheer determination. She knows commands like sit, touch, paw, and wait through hand-on touch signals, proving every day that being blind and deaf doesn't stop her from learning, loving, and living life to the fullest. Ripley is an active girl who loves running, exploring new scents, and showing off her surprisingly strong herding instincts. She'd probably volunteer to organize your household if she could. She's also a professional shoe thief—not because she destroys them, but because footwear belongs in her personal collection. When playtime is over, Ripley transforms into a world-class cuddle bug. She loves being close to her people and happily follows them from room to room, making sure no snack is eaten without proper supervision. She is crate trained, walks nicely on a leash and is treat motivated. Because Ripley can't see or hear, regular potty breaks help her stay successful with house training. Ripley absolutely adores other dogs, loves kids, and has never met a stranger she didn't want to be friends with. Cats, however, are a different story. She is completely obsessed with them and would happily spend her entire day chasing and "managing" them, so a cat-free home is a must. Small animals are also not a good fit due to her strong herding instincts. Ripley *must* go to a home with another confident dog, she is just too scared without one. One of Ripley's greatest talents? Being completely unbothered by life. Thunderstorms? Fireworks? Loud noises? She has no idea they're happening. The only thing that startles her is being bumped unexpectedly while she's sound asleep. A few things about Ripley: -Ripley is very sensitive to sunlight and needs protective goggles when outdoors. Being mostly albino, UV exposure can irritate her eyes quickly. -Stairs are still a work in progress, but she's learning. -She can get carsick, so road trips may require a little planning. -She relies heavily on her people for guidance and reassurance, making her a wonderful companion for someone looking for a devoted sidekick. Perhaps the best thing about Ripley? Her bark sounds exactly like one of those squeaky rubber chicken toys. We're not kidding. Ripley doesn't need a perfect home. She just needs a family willing to see past her vision and hearing loss, and recognize the incredible, funny, loving, adventurous dog underneath. She may not be able to see you, and she may not be able to hear you, but she will absolutely love you with her whole heart. Ready to be Ripley's eyes, ears, and favorite human? Apply to meet this sweet baby! https://peaceloveandpawsrescue.com/adopt%2Ffoster-application

Meet Stella! 🐾❄️ Stella is a sweet, beautiful Husky with all the classic Husky charm you could ask for! She loooooves to run, play, and roughhouse with other dogs, chase squirrels, and happily use her voice to let you know exactly what she wants. Life is an adventure with Stella by your side! After she's had her fun, Stella transforms into a total cuddle bug. She loves snuggling up for some well-earned relaxation and is a softie at heart. Stella is house-trained, sleeps through the night, eats well, and is comfortable going into a crate when needed. She's currently learning leash manners and working on basic commands. Like many Huskies, she's smart and eager to learn, and with a little guidance she'll continue to shine. Friendly, affectionate, and full of personality, Stella is ready to find her forever family and become an amazing companion. Her ideal home will appreciate her playful spirit, active lifestyle, and loving nature. One important note: Stella would do best in a home without feline friends. 🐱❌ If you're looking for a fun-loving adventure buddy who also gives world-class cuddles, Stella may be your perfect match! ❤️🐶 Adoption application: https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/HPH/Dog

Story
Meet Milton!! Just look at that face – who could say no to that?? Well, Milton is sincerely hoping you can’t pass him by because he is anxiously waiting to find the forever family he will spend the rest of his life with! He is the sweetest hound/husky mix you’ll ever meet! He is a wonderful senior with an estimated birthdate of 3/7/20 and he weighs in at about 73 pounds. Milton is heartworm negative, up to date on his vaccines and preventatives, and neutered. He just needs a loving and responsible human to call his own so he can shower them with love, affection, and loyalty. All Milton needs is for YOU to give him a chance to win your heart and become your best friend forever! Currently this sweet baby is with our rescue, The Artemis Project, in Arkansas. We DO, however, transport monthly to the metro Detroit area of MI. Because we’re able to transport, we ARE able to accept adoption applications directly from residents of MI. Why do we transport? Because animal overpopulation is severe in our region, and stray and unwanted dogs have very little chance of finding a home here. These babies are, however, at a high risk of being neglected, abused, abandoned, euthanized or even shot (it’s “the way things are done” for some people down here). YOU are truly one of the only safe and happy endings for the lucky ones we are able to rescue. Upon approval of your adoption application, we will then transport your new furbaby to you in the metro Detroit area for just a small travel expense fee of $50 in addition to the adoption fee. MICHIGAN RESIDENTS—>PLEASE CLICK THE LINK BELOW TO FILL OUT THE ADOPTION APPLICATION: https://new.shelterluv.com/form/other/TAP/2450-michigan-adoption Before we can change your new furbaby’s status from "adoptable" to "adoption pending," the $50 transport fee must be paid to secure the adoption. At that time, we will stop accepting applications. The entire adoption fee must be paid prior to the transport in order to ensure your new baby has a spot on the transport. Thank you SO MUCH for giving a homeless Arkansas pup a chance at a real life with a family of their very own!

Story
Meet Ghoat. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could not longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!
