Story
Gilbert is a soft, fluffy, blue-eyed, white Husky. He is a sweet guy, house trained, crate trained, gets along with dogs of all sizes, and is respectful of cats (even bullies like ours!). He rides well in a car and is good on a leash. While Gilbert appears happy, active, and healthy, he is considered a hospice case. He is being treated for health issues that require he receive his meds on schedule. His favorite things are walks and some love. He does need a secure fence for, if loose, he loves a free and joyous romp through the neighborhood! For someone willing to give him the care he needs, and make his days filled with fun and love, Gilbert would be a wonderful friend!

Story
Hi! My name is Al and I am from Minnesota Al is so sweet and such a goofball. He is super smart, both house and kennel trained and loves to play! Al is great with other dogs and seems to be good with cats (although he has only been around them once for a few hours)! He loves to run around and if he could, he would be outside all day. Although he does love a nice comfy couch or bed inside. From the foster: He is a little skittish around some people but after some time, he does warm up to them. It is best to approach him slowly and let him come to you. Once he trusts you he will fall right into your lap and let you hold him as if he was a tiny lap dog.

Story
Mya was 1 year old when we adopted her in 2022. She’s a good Girl. We adopted her for our daughters. With one child heading off to college and one who is crazy busy all the time we just don’t have the time to give Mya the attention she deserves. Mya does just about anything for a treat. She knows how to sit, lay down, target, shake, and many other fun tricks. She is potty trained. She never has an accident inside even when our busy schedules neglect to let her out properly. She loves pets and people. She is great with our girls and loves to run around and play with her stuffy. She doesn’t jump on people or growl. She does bark occasionally but it’s a one time bark to let you know she needs to go potty. We love Mya and we just want to see her go to a good home who will love her as well. Somewhere with a fenced yard she can run and play. A home that will give her lots of love and attention. All the things she used to get here before our lives got so busy.

Story
Location: Prior Lake, MN Hi, I’m Tonie! I’m just one big happy girl who is eager to please and play. I recently arrived from the Rez and really enjoy running around the yard getting my zoomies out. I am starting to play catch with my foster mom, and really loving playing with toys. I have some energy, so an active family will be best for me to thrive. I can also be relaxed, and love to chew on a bone and take a good nap in the sun. Especially on the chillier days I love sleeping outside, it feels like home. I’m am very dog friendly, eager to make friends and have play dates. I am so happy to be safe and loved. I have grown fond of the kids here and they love to play with calling me the “husky police dog. ” I am working on my training - learning to not be so jumpy and to sit! I have a lot of motivation to listen to commands and come to my name very well. I’m continuing my crate training but do very well in my own area with a bed. Overall, I am such a spunky happy girl with a lot of potential to grow into a fantastic dog with some good training and lots of love. If you’re looking for a fun, happy go lucky girl, then that could be me! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs special attention, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Location: Beresford, SD Shalla is an old soul with a youthful heart. There’s a gentle wisdom about her that’s apparent the moment you see her—but step closer, and she’ll happily surprise you with joyful hops and rapid‑fire kisses. She’s the kind of dog who reminds you that some hearts stay forever young. Shalla has spent much of her life being a devoted mama, and now it’s her turn to be cared for. And care for her you will—because she is stunning. From her beautifully lined eyes to her glowing golden coat, she turns heads wherever she goes. We aren’t quite sure of her breed, but she has the majestic face of a wolf paired with big, elegant paws—though she’s not especially tall. Her coat is thick, sleek, and surprisingly easy to maintain considering how full it is. Shalla would thrive in a home with people around most of the time. She loves kids and enjoys being part of the action. She’s polite with other dogs—she likes them well enough but doesn’t necessarily need a canine companion to be happy. What she does need is togetherness. Shalla doesn’t love being alone, and adopters should be prepared to use a heavy‑duty crate and possibly medication when away from home. Aside from that, she is an amazing, well‑behaved dog who simply wants to be close to her people. And yes—we know you’re wondering—she has had zero accidents. If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will soak up every moment by your side, Shalla is ready to finally be someone’s “baby.” --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Come meet me at one of our two Adoption Events this weekend! 💜 Trove Brewing in Burnsville on Saturday, 6/6 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm 💚 Chuck & Don's in Wayzata on Sunday, 6/7 from 11:00am - 1:00pm Age: approximately 1 year Weight: 31lbs Dog friendly: Yes, requires companion dog in the home. Cat friendly: Yes! Kid friendly: Not tested, but likely fine with older/respectful children. Potty trained: Yes! Crate trained: Yes! Meet Ricky! He is the sweetest little fluff ball ever. At first he was slow to warm up. He liked being near by but wasn’t super interested in playing or cuddling. Now he loves to chase his foster puppy sister around the yard and chew on treats. He still isn’t too interested in toys, but he loves to be by his people and get lots of pets! Ricky walks well on a leash and knows to go potty outside. He has never had a potty accident in his foster home. He also doesn’t mind car rides. Ricky would love a fenced in yard to play in, but would also do fine going potty on a leash. Ricky has tried to wander so a secure fence or a commitment to using a leash is a must for him! Ricky LOVES treats and takes them very gently. He is still learning basic commands, but based on his love of food, he should pick it up quickly. Ricky lives with a doggie foster brother and sister and a kitty foster brother and sister too. He hasn’t had any issue with any of them! In fact, Ricky requires another dog in the home to help him feel brave and confident while he is adjusting and he looks to other dogs for cues. Additionally, Ricky’s fluffy hair will require regular brushing and grooming to avoid painful mattes. Ricky tolerates brushing well, especially when he gets treats! Ricky hopes to meet you soon! Adoption fee: $595
