You might just see him at the next summer Olympics competing in hurdles and sprinting, but he's just as likely to win a naptime contest. Charlie is house trained and knows how to sit, lay, stay, and shake; what a smart boy! He loves his sleep and bedtime is one of his favorite parts of the day. The best way to describe Charlie is calm and lazy with bursts of energy. Charlie loves chew toys, treats, car rides, and people. Charlie is about 4 years old. He is neutered, up to date on his vaccinations, and has a microchip. To meet Charlie, please complete an application on the Carver Scott Humane Society's website.

Story
Hi, my name is Peony, and I’m an adorable bundle of fluff! I have pretty white and tan bands on my legs, and I’m told all the time that I’m really beautiful! I’m also a lot of fun! I’m always looking for adventure, and my foster mom says that she can tell what I’m thinking by looking at the expression on my face. I’m pretty easy to read, and I guess that’s a good thing because it keeps me out of trouble! I’m very inquisitive and I love to explore, but my humans know I can be easily distracted with a cozy lap to snuggle in. The peony is a symbol of joy, happiness, and beauty. I promise to bring my new forever family happiness every day! I hope I can find a forever family that will enjoy a curious, active, and devoted pup like me!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Please note that the majority of our dogs in rescue are from shelters where they have been found as strays or abandoned. Their breed description is based on our very best educated guess based on physical characteristics and their dispositions. If they came to our rescue as an owner surrender, the breed description will be listed as provided by the previous owner.Adoption Fee - $575To apply for this pup, please submit an Adoption Application at http://warriordogrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application/

Story
Hi! My name is Tulip and I’m the original party girl! My foster mom calls me a born leader since I’m very creative. I’m always watching what is going on because I want to be in the middle of it! Oh wait, I also like being there for the start AND for the finish. I have a lot of energy and I am fun-fun-fun! But after I’m tired out from playing, I especially love being with my humans because they pick me up, hold me, and give me treats. I have really pretty markings, including a white tip on my tail! The tulip is a symbol of perfect, unconditional love, and I plan to deliver just that! I would love to have a forever family that is active and enjoys puppy snuggles, and I will reward them with every ounce of love I have!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. Story
Hi! My name is Violet! My dog mom came here from Alabama, and I was born in Minnesota. I have a beautiful, fluffy black coat with pretty white markings and white socks. Although I’m usually calm, I also like to play and I can keep up with my four sisters just fine! I have a sweet disposition and a sweet face to match. I love sleeping under my foster mom’s chair while she works at her computer. I’m very patient and I wait until she’s finished because I know playtime is coming next! But you can only play for so long, and then I want to snuggle with my humans. Violets are a symbol of innocence and inspiration, and I want to inspire my forever family to spoil me with lots of hugs and love, and I’ll reward them with unlimited puppy kisses!--------------------------------------------All our Warrior Dogs will have all age appropriate medical care and vaccines, a microchip, and spayed/neutered if the dog is over 6 months of age at the time of adoption. My name is Sasha and I am a one-and-a-half-year-old Pomski! I only have one eye but it does not bother me one bit. I love to play with humans and other dogs. I especially love my ball. I am approximately 25 pounds so I fit in your lap perfectly and I love to cuddle. I am losing my beautiful winter coat right now, but I don’t mind being brushed. I love the car and getting exercise. I walk nicely on a leash but love to smell everything. I can’t wait to find my forever family! Story
Hi, my name is Jacob and I was an owner surrender. From the foster: We are Jacobs second foster family, his first foster had this to say " Jacob is a happy, handsome Husky with calm energy. I describe it as calm energy because it is different than puppy energy. He will talk to you in his low husky voice to say good morning, tell you he his hungry or when he sees the leash come out because he is excited to go and explore. He loves to spend time in the backyard and play with our neighbor's dog. He lives with our 6 year old cattle dog and my 11 and 13 year old. Jacob likes to be pet, brushed, and snuggle while watching TV. Sometimes he will fetch, but it seems to be on his terms. I noticed that he likes to bury his toys in blankets which is super cute. I have enjoyed getting to know this husky breed, sometimes he seems so human. He even tried to keep the kids from jumping in the pool by putting his arms around them. While Jacob is 6, it does not appear that he had been taught basic obedience. He is a very good boy considering the lack of training. He rarely barks, he only jumps up when he sees the leash, and has not shown any leash aggression. He may get excited to see another dog, but it is not aggression. Jacob will pull on a leash until he gets more energy out and then he will settle in. He will require a fenced yard and training for owner and Jacob to be the best they can be together." Our update: In the time that Jacob has been with us he has not had any accidents in the house, though he did mark his favorite bed once. He loves wrestling with our two year old malamute and the two of them will play for hours. Jake does have a little bit of the typical husky mischief making and stubbornness. We have been working hard on his obedience which is improving quickly. As well he has been crated at night and during the day when we are away. While he does not like his crate, he protests less every day and generally quiets down after a few minutes. Jacob is a great companion and a joy to spend time with. Jacob has been taking an anti anxiety medication through his transition to our home. Our impression is that he is fearful of being left alone and the medication helps him relax in his crate when we have to leave him. The hope is that once he is more comfortable with his crate and settling into a forever home that he would no longer need this medication.
