Story
Location: Sioux Falls, Sd Meet Indie – The Blue-Eyed Beauty Ready for Her Forever Home! 💙🐾 Indie has the most stunning blue eyes you’ve ever seen—and a heart to match! Though she was shy and nervous at first, this sweet girl has blossomed into a confident and loving companion in just a short time. In one month, Indie has already mastered potty training, crate training, and leash walking without pulling. She’s incredibly smart and eager to please. After doing an amazing job raising her puppies, Indie is ready for the next chapter of her life—one where she gets to be the dog, soak up the love, and just enjoy being part of a family. Goofy and playful, Indie gets along wonderfully with the resident dogs in her foster home and loves long walks. She enjoys cuddling in bed at night but often chooses the cool bathroom floor to sleep on—her little quirk! During the day, she’s perfectly content in her crate when left alone. One of her favorite pastimes? Lounging on the deck, watching birds and taking in the sights and sounds of nature. Indie is affectionate, gentle, and full of personality. Now all she needs is a loving home where she can continue to thrive. Story
Location: Andover, MN Sesi is an absolute sweetheart who has adapted very well to her foster home with two elementary-aged children and two other huskies. Her tail is always wagging and she wants to be near her people and dog friends at all times. She loves her big fluffy bed, snuggling on the couch, laying outside in the sun and hanging out in the office all day while her foster mom works. She is potty trained and does pretty well on a leash but we will keep working on that now that the weather is warming up! We are also working on "sit", she is very smart, and food motivated! Sesi would do best in a forever home with at least one other friendly dog, she really seems to like her pack. She does not like her crate or being put in a separate room, it will be very important she goes to a home where she has access to most spaces. We have not had any issues with her roaming in common spaces while we are gone. If you are looking for an easygoing, loyal dog with a ton of love to give, Sesi is your girl! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Hi everyone! This is Sylvia! She is looking for a very special family to spend the rest of her time with. Sylvia was diagnosed with cancer a few months ago when she went in for surgery and some tumors were found under her tongue. It is unknown how aggressive the cancer is or how much time she has left. However, she is still full of energy and acts like her normal husky self everyday. She also came in with an injured leg, so she had her right rear leg amputated! Sylvia is a fun and goofy girl. She likes to hop around and play. She likes treats and loves her food. She will howl when she has to go potty. She is a bit unsure of new surroundings and sees her kennel as a comfort zone. She is potty trained and kennel trained and hasn't demonstrated any destructive behaviors when out and about in the house. Sylvia would love to meet you and looks forward to reading through your application with us! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St. Paul, MN Sammy is a wonderful boy who will be a great match if you are looking for an energetic and intelligent dog companion! He’s active, smart but strong-willed, and enjoys both companionship and quiet space to himself. Sammy does best with a confident handler who enjoys working with a determined dog. He’s made great progress with leash training, and he has a lot of with a game of fetch. A securely fenced yard would be ideal, as he loves being outside and can be a bit of an escape artist. He’s calm in the house, gets along well with other dogs and cats, and has been so gentle and sweet with his foster family’s young children. He’s crate trained but does not prefer it and does well in the house when left out. He would thrive in a home where he can be active, mentally engaged, and part of a daily routine. For someone who appreciates the husky spirit, Sammy will be a loyal and rewarding companion! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: Sioux Falls, SD Bria is a sweet girl that recently came into rescue. She is still learning on how to be a dog, but she is a quick learner! She tends to jump when excited or nervous, but that has gotten better every day. She is good around dogs, cats, and kids. She does go into her kennel- sometimes it is easier to get her in with a treat! She is pretty skinny, so she is working on that as well. She is currently using a slow feeder bowl to slow her down a bit. Bria has been doing very well with potty training and it continues to get better. She sometimes does nervous pee, but a lot has changed in her life in the last 2 weeks, so it is to be expected. It has been fun to see her personality start to come out as she gets more comfortable with her new life. She will soon be spayed and ready for her forever home! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Location: St Paul, MN Meet Zeus! 🐾 Zeus is a fun-loving, energetic puppy who’s full of life and affection. Still growing and very much in his teething phase, his little chompers aren't too sharp, but he does have base narrow canine teeth — so he's getting some fun ball therapy to help out. Pain doesn’t slow this pup down one bit, so he’ll need a watchful eye to keep him safe during playtime. He’s making great progress with potty training — though he's still mastering pee pads — and he’s a champ when it comes to nail trims, baths, and taking his meds. Zeus could benefit from mental enrichment games to keep that smart little mind active and engaged. True to what we suspect is some Husky heritage, Zeus can be very vocal when playing with other dogs, but he settles quickly with a short kennel time-out (about 5 minutes does the trick). Just make sure it’s a sturdy one — he’s known to be an escape artist with wire crates! Zeus absolutely loves people — adults, kids, and other dogs alike. He’s a cuddler, an attention-seeker, and an all-around social butterfly. He does jump a bit out of excitement, so continued training will help with that. While we’re not sure about his feelings toward cats yet, he does well on leash with just a bit of pulling and is a big fan of toys (especially when they help redirect those teething nibbles!). Zeus is still growing into his big puppy paws and has loads of love, joy, and tail wags to share. With a little guidance and a lot of play, he’s going to make an incredible companion! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org).
