Story
Meet Andy, Andy is a sweet, goofy husky puppy who is down for a good floor nap after he’s had his exercise, and he’ll be sure to remind you when he needs that exercise with a little love nibble on your leg. He’s calmest when he’s near his people and will happily hang out around you without being velcro. He has a fun, vocal personality during play, but he’s still learning that play doesn’t include nipping. He’s very much a puppy and is learning everything from scratch, so he’ll need a home that’s ready for that stage. Andy has a slightly sensitive, thoughtful temperament, especially with new challenges like going down stairs. He sometimes likes to “think about it” before following through and is very treat-motivated. Like many huskies, he appreciates knowing what’s in it for him. With consistency, he continues to build confidence. He has a medium-to-high energy level and will need consistent daily exercise and mental stimulation as he grows. Walks, training, and enrichment will be important, along with a balanced routine that includes rest. If you’re considering Andy, it’s important to think about what that exercise will look like year-round, including winter, which he loves. Andy is smart and trainable and responds well to calm, positive, consistent guidance (and treats). He’s working on sit (pretty solid), down (improving), heel (does well with consistent reinforcement), and come (in progress). He’s also very enthusiastic about mealtime and is learning to sit and settle before eating. Crate training is still a work in progress. Andy can be vocal when settling and may take some time to calm down, though he is improving. When given the option, he will often choose to nap in his crate on his own with the door open. Potty training is also in progress. He does best with a structured schedule and close supervision and does not yet consistently signal when he needs to go out. Like many puppies his age, Andy is mouthy and can bite during play, including grabbing pants or legs. This is typical puppy behavior but will require consistent redirection and supervision, especially around children. Andy is very curious about cats and wants to engage and play. He has been corrected by a cat and continues to show interest. He is not aggressive, but he does not yet understand boundaries and will need slow introductions and supervision in a home with cats. He can go up stairs without any problem and has learned to go down short staircases (three steps or fewer). He is still uncomfortable with longer staircases and may need to be carried for now. This appears to be a confidence issue and should improve with patience and practice. Andy also has a small quirk where his eyes may flick briefly when he’s focusing upward - usually just a couple quick movements before he locks in. This has been consistent since he arrived, has not worsened, and has been evaluated by veterinarians. It does not affect his balance or movement. Andy will do best in a home that is prepared for the reality of life with a Husky - one with the time, patience, and consistency to continue his training and make sure he gets the physical and mental activity his breed needs. All CSHS pups are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, 4DX negative (if older than 6 months), dewormed and microchipped. Story
Location: Lynd, MN Hi! My name is Hip Hop! I was adopted initially as a younger pup, but sadly my person had to move across the country & couldn’t take me with. I was really sad about that! I do love my foster family I’m at now though! I can sit like a good girl & lay down. I even stay quiet all night in my kennel & happily go in there. I previously was a frequent flyer at the local doggy daycare so I really love other dogs too! I really enjoying romping around with the four dogs here! I also LOVE being outside! I am half Siberian husky so that isn’t surprising to anyone! I also get along well with the cats here too. The female cats kind of scare me so I don’t mess with them! There are small kids here & it took me awhile to adjust to them, but I do really like them. Their fast movements really startled me at first, but I am pretty used to it now! Sometimes they drop food & I’m never mad about that! My former adopters said I was potty trained, but I did have some accidents here - regression can be normal in new places. I really like water so I’m learning how to drink an appropriate amount without overdoing it & since I’m figuring that out I am doing really great without any accidents inside! Everyone loves to comment about my pretty eyes & I can be a “talker” sometimes which everyone thinks is pretty funny! Does it sound like you could be my fur-ever home?! --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Adoption fee includes spay/neuter, all age-appropriate vaccinations (distemper, rabies, and bordetella), heartworm and flea/tick preventatives, heartworm test (dogs), FIV/FeLV test (cats), dewormed, and microchip implant (including registration). Rescue Network is strictly foster based which means all adoptable animals are in a home and there cannot be a meet until an application is submitted and approved. We have no way of knowing the breeds in the animals. All breeds listed are best guess.

Story
Location: Hanover, MN Mateo is a big, lovable puppy with the heart of a lap dog and the energy of a true northern breed. He’s smart, affectionate, and always ready for adventure. He’s dog-friendly and very excited to meet new people. Mateo is crate trained, about 95% housebroken, and knows “sit.” He’s highly motivated by food and praise and is working on keeping all four paws on the floor when he gets excited. He’ll need a committed adopter who will continue his training with structure and positive reinforcement. Mateo has a high prey drive and cannot live with cats or small animals. He hasn’t been around kids yet and can be a bit of a bull in a china shop, so any children should be sturdy and supervised. With his high energy level, Mateo will thrive in an active home and would love activities like hiking, running, weight pulling, bikejoring, or skijoring. He wants to be wherever his people are — whether that’s on the couch, in the kitchen, or heading out on your next adventure. If you’re looking for a loyal sidekick who will work hard, play hard, and love you endlessly, Mateo might be your guy. --------------- The best way to show interest in an animal is to submit an adoption application by visiting our website (www.rescuenetworkmn.org). Story
Hi, my name is Sushi. I am from Alabama. Sushi is the sweetest! She loves to cuddle on the couch and will tell you if you’re not petting her enough. Crate trained and potty trained. She doesn’t mind other cats and dogs but doesn’t like them being around while she eats. Prefers other “calm” animals. From The BB Medical Team: I am currently being treated for heartworm disease. Heartworm is not contagious so your resident pets are not at risk! The treatment for this is 3-4 months long and requires a minimum of 3 appointments and strict rest/restricted activity. My adoption can take place during treatment, while The BB manages the financial responsibility of my heartworm treatment at The Bond Between Vet Center. Any other medical care needed outside of the specific care covered in the contract disclaimer, would be the responsibility of my new family.

Story
Age: DOB 6/02/2025 Dog friendly: Yes Kid friendly: Yes Potty Trained: Yes Crate Trained: Yes Meet Faber: your energetic rookie with first-line potential 🏒 Faber is a smart young pup who’s ready to skate her way into the right home. She’s crate trained, sleeps through the night in her kennel, and does great with daytime crate breaks too (up to 6 hours currently). She’s also potty trained and happily handles business in the yard. She listens when you tell her “go potty”. This girl is a quick learner. She already knows sit, down, and touch, which is where she touches her nose to your hand and can be used for recall. She's currently learning leave it and doing well. Training sessions are one of her favorite ways to burn energy and bond with her people. Her other favorite way is a walk of any length. Faber brings rookie enthusiasm to everything she does. She loves fetch, enjoys snuggle time once she settles, and wants to be involved in whatever her humans are up to. Like many young athletes, she’s still building her off-switch and does best with clear routines, structure, and regular mental and physical outlets. Her current stats: 🏒 Crate trained (night and day) 🏒 Potty trained 🏒 Knows sit, down, touch — working on leave it 🏒 Smart, food-motivated, and eager to learn 🏒 Energetic with a sweet, cuddly side once she’s had her activity Faber is looking for a home that appreciates a spirited young player. She'd love someone who’s ready to invest time in training, provide structure, and help her grow into the amazing teammate she’s meant to be. If you’re searching for a loyal companion with hustle, heart, and plenty of personality, Faber might be your MVP.

Story
Age: ~1-2 years old Weight: ~60 pounds Dog friendly: yes Cat friendly: Unknown Kid friendly: Unknown, but likely best with older kids because of his size Potty trained: Yes Crate trained: Yes Meet Leo! He is such a sweet, cuddly, loving dog. Leo aims to please. In return, all he asks for is lots of love, and, okay, maybe some treats, too. Leo seems to love all people and dogs. He'd probably be fine with children, but he's a big guy who doesn't always recognize it, so he'd do best with older kids. His forever family will need to keep him active. He loves his daily walks! He is quite interested in squirrels, so if he is off-leash, he would need a 6-foot fence to keep him contained, but a fence is not required for him! Adoption fee: $495
