Meet Tokyo! Tokyo is a sweet, playful husky/mix. He loves people, gets along great with other dogs, and wants to be your little shadow! He may be a bit shy at first, but warms up into a loyal companion who loves snuggling after playtime. He’s an exceptional car rider! He is food motivated, He is learning basic commands with treats, doing well on a leash, and responds nicely to redirection. He’s already sleeping through the night in his kennel without accidents! Potty training is going well - he's using puppy pads and reliably goes outside when taken out. He’ll need patience and consistency as he continues learning. He’s also learning to feel comfortable spending time alone. Gets along great with other dogs; a buddy would be a bonus, but isn’t required. He currently barks at and chases the resident cats. I think he can be better with training as he's easily redirected.

Meet Ghost. He’s being fostered in east TN. Out of state welcome for additional fee. We transport to the Greta lakes and northeast areas east areas. We use rescue riders for all our pet transport needs. Ghost had a home but unfortunately his owner could no longer care for him. He’s a really sweet pup. He loves attention and will come rest his head on your lap for petting and ear scratches. He gets along with most all other dogs big and small young or old. He is very playful and has lots of energy. He seems to be a husky mix. He has the curled husky tail and the coat of a medium coated husky, but he also looks like he could be mixed with another breed. He’s not very big and only around 45 lbs. he’s a year old so he should not get much bigger. He probably will top out around 50-55 lbs. he is crate trained and house trained and walks well on a leash. He is a just a little shy when meeting new people and it doesn’t take long for him to warm up. He is one smart and sweet pup!

New things can be a little intimidating at first, but I’m also SO curious! I’m doing well with potty training when kept on a tight schedule, and I sleep through the night in my crate. I already know “sit." Sometimes I get SO excited to see people that I just have to jump up and give kisses—but I’m learning that all four paws are supposed to stay on the floor. Apparently humans have rules about these things.I’m learning to love walks! There is just SO MUCH to smell and see! Sometimes I need a little encouragement to remember that we're actually supposed to keep walking instead of investigating every single interesting thing, but I’m getting the hang of it.I’m also finding my voice!
