Story
Maggie is an energetic young female that is sweet and smart. Maggie was in a rough situation where owner had too many dogs and could not afford vet care. She had a litter of puppies and was a great mom. We got her spayed and updated on vaccinations so she is very much ready for a forever home! Maggie is a perfect size, not too big and not too small. 😊 She loves attention and is very affectionate. Maggie does great w/bigger dogs and would be fine with older children. She is housetrained and does well on a leash.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.   **URGENT FOSTER NEEDED** Zelda (2y 50lb) is a teenage girl Husky who is looking for her forever home! Zelda will need a home that understands the exercise, temperament, and singing that comes with a Husky. Because this breed is higher maintenance, we do not suggest Zelda as a single dog or for a first time owner.  Zelda is your typical YOUNG HUSKY. She loves to play with other dogs, she greets with her mouth, and is a floppy silly girl! Zelda would do best in a home with a fenced yard, another dog or two to play with, and lots of games, toys, and activities!  Zelda also LOVES that water! She fights with the water hose in typical Husky fashion, and would love swimming with her people. Zelda is a big fan of the game fetch, but doesn't quite understand the rules yet - you can throw it, but you can't take it! She really is a goofy gal.  Zelda is a strong young pup and is very opinionated and loves to think she is the boss. Zelda is still working on jumping, pulling on a leash, but shows a lot of potential. She loves toys, treats, people, dogs, and pretty much everything else!  Interested in adopting? Meet Presley! Presley is a bright, energetic, and athletic young dog who’s ready to bring fun and excitement to an active forever home. She’s incredibly smart—she’s already mastered every puzzle toy she’s been given, yet still lights up with excitement when she sees them. Presley is housebroken and walks well on a leash, though she could benefit from some continued training, especially with recall. Luckily, she’s a quick learner and highly responsive to direction, making her a great candidate for obedience classes or agility training. She thrives on activity and would do best in a home that can offer her plenty of daily mental and physical stimulation. Apartment living isn’t the right fit for Presley due to her energy needs—she’d love a yard or easy access to outdoor adventures. Presley’s favorite activities include going for walks, chasing squirrels in the backyard, and making friends (both canine and human!) at the dog park. She's very dog-friendly and loves socializing. Presley is also good with kids but would do best in a home with children over 8, as she’s still learning spatial awareness and may accidentally knock over smaller children in her enthusiasm. She’s not overly vocal but will bark to alert you when someone’s at the door or when she needs to go outside. Presley has brought endless joy and laughter to her foster home, and now she’s ready to do the same for her forever family. If you're looking for a loving, lively, and loyal companion, Presley might just be your perfect match! Story
Meet Oden, a Husky born approx 3/1/23. Oden is mostly house-trained. He is getting used to being tied out in the yard and in a kennel. He only stays in there during the day, so the cat has a chance to do his thing. Oden sleeps with me (in bed) all night. He seems slightly interested in the cat, but the cat wants nothing to do with him, so there hasn't been much interaction. He doesn’t chase down the cat or try to get to the cat when the cat is around. He is AMAZING with my five-year-old. He is very playful and thinks life is a game. He has the attitude of a typical husky. He wants to lead on a leash and pull you around, and he never wants to do something he doesn’t like (i.e., go into his kennel). He will run around playing a game of chase. He loves his bone and rope; he will play tug of war. He is so cuddly and sweet. He is a runner and would be best suited in a place where he can have a lot of space to run. He cannot wait to find his forever family!  Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, Alter, Prepaid microchip, Dewormed, Rabies vaccine (if age appropriate), Distemper combo vaccine(s) appropriate to age, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX (over 6 months of age), Flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue. Story
Tyr is a male Siberian Husky born approximately 4/21/20 who recently came to us from a Reservation. He has a lot of energy and loves to play with our other dogs. Tyr also likes to spend time outside even when it is cold. Despite having the energy level of a young husky, he is also perfectly happy to curl up next to or on the lap of one of his favorite humans to watch a movie or two. Tyr ignores our cat most of the time. The cat can play and be naughty beside him, and Tyr leaves him alone. However, we noticed that Tyr can be selective when it comes to new dogs. Proper introduction is highly recommended. Another thing to note is Tyr can be food reactive. If there are other dogs or people nearby and he is eating, he may react.  Tyr treats his crate as a safe space and will go in willingly if the door is left open or for short periods of time for a time out, but he does not like to be left in the crate. He will hurt himself trying to get out of the crate if left for a long time. He will likewise pee in the crate. If we have to go on errands, we leave him in the house with our other dogs. We found out that being left by himself, despite not being in the crate, causes separation anxiety. He will try to get out of the house by chewing and clawing at doors and siding. He will also try to chew doorknobs. Sadly, the one incident of doorknob chewing damaged his canine and it had to be extracted. Tyr will need dental care to make sure his teeth do not get damaged further.  When it comes to feeding, we suspect that his previous owner fed him in his crate since he does not eat much from a dish left out in the open and seems to feel more secure eating in the crate. Tyr knows basic commands like sit and shake. He will tell you if needs to go potty.   Since Huskies tend to have a high energy level and separation anxiety, we think he would do best in a home where someone is around most of the time and is able to provide the physical and mental stimulation he needs. If not around most of the time, it will be better for Tyr to go to a home with another dog that he can bond with to ease his separation anxiety.  A home with a fenced-in yard will be the most ideal forever home for Tyr. He is an extremely talented escape artist and sees escaping as a game. He will not return even if you call out to him. Chasing him will make him run faster and further away.   As you can see from the pictures, he is a gorgeous black and white husky with one blue and one brown eye. He is also very fluffy and soft... perfect to cuddle with! If you think Tyr is the right dog for your family, please submit an application today!   Adoption fee includes: Full veterinary exam, alter, dental, prepaid microchip, dewormed, Rabies vaccine, DAPP vaccine, Bordetella vaccine, 4DX , flea/tick and heartworm preventative while in rescue.
