Members of our Youth Task Force have noted that Diesel particularly loves chasing frisbees when they play with him in our outdoor yards. Koa is a smart and friendly girl, about 1 year old, weighing 50lbs. This beautiful girl has one blue eye, one brown eye, and the softest fur! Koa was found running up and down a busy road frantically. Sadly, it is believed that she had been dumped by her previous owners. This intelligent girl is eager to please and already knows all her basic commands, and is house trained. Koa is friendly with people, kids, and dogs (with slow and proper introductions). She is a high energy girl who loves to play fetch with her ball, hike, and play tug of war. She LOVES going for walks and has good leash manners. Koa also enjoys going for car rides - she is always down for a fun adventure! This happy girl would love a forever home with a fenced yard (6' fence), and a family that will commit to providing her the daily exercise/stimulation that she needs. She would enjoy going to doggy daycare or having family members who work from home, and another playful dog that she can spend time with. These 4 Huskies (2 females - Cleopatra & Neffertiti) and (2 males - Cesar & Hercules) live in Newark. They are all 4 years old and weigh 55 pounds. Their owner Claudia has to move and cannot take dogs. She has a kennel outside and this is where the dogs live. Claudia moved out on Friday 12/1 but has the house until end of month. She is going to leave the dogs there and will go each day to care for them while she hopefully finds a home.  These Huskies are mostly outdoor dogs so they are not house trained. Cleopatra, Neffertiti & Cesar are good with all people & other dogs but Hercules barks at them and also at cats & strangers. These dogs are NOT with 11th Hour Rescue but we are helping to network them in the hopes that they will find a good home. This is Delilah's Suki. She was born on 2/21/24 and will be available when she is 8 weeks old. She and her siblings have been very loved in the foster home where they were born. Now its time for them to find their Happily Ever After. The last picture is her Mom.  From her foster Mom: Hi! My name is Suki and I’m the only brown girl in my litter. I’m also one of the smaller pups but what I lack in size I make up for in snuggles. I’m very gentle and love to sit in my foster mommies lap and take puppy naps. I like playing with toys and giving and receiving as many kisses as possible. I definitely show more signs of husky than malamute and will be one amazing athlete when I finally grow into my one day pointy ears.
