You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Periwinkle (TX) is a female Siberian Husky mix rescued in Texas.  Our vet partners estimate her age is 10 years old at the time of intake in November 2025. This poor girl was the victim of severe neglect when her tumor burst causing a bloody mess on the shelter floor after she was dumped there. RDR provided the medical care she needed and she is ready to relax and head to the Northeast. She is a gentle soul, just look into her eyes. She deserves to know love and compassion! If you would like to show Periwinkle how happy life can be, please apply online to adopt Periwnkle (TX) at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org.RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. Given technical constraints on this database, this pet's location may not be as listed here. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Hatcher: The Brave Little Explorer with a Wink and a Wag Once upon a time (okay, like a few weeks ago), a scruffy little Shepherd/Husky mix named Hatcher was found roaming the streets like a pint-sized adventurer. At just 10–11 weeks old, he’d already survived a mystery trauma and now sports a permanent wink after the removal of his left eye. But don’t let the past fool you—this boy is pure sunshine. Hatcher is sweet, silly, and loves everyone he meets. People? Obsessed. Other dogs? Instant BFFs. Cats? Wants to play, but respectful with zero prey drive. Squeaky toys? Life-changing. He’s got the fluff of a Husky, the loyalty of a Shepherd, and the heart of a hero. If you’re looking for a pup who is equal parts cuddle bug and comedy act, Hatcher’s your guy. He’s ready to turn the page and start his happily-ever-after—with you. Apply to adopt this little legend at www.rescuedogsrocknyc.org. His tail’s already wagging at the thought. Please also be sure to reference this pet's name as Hatcher (AL) in case of duplicate names within the rescue. Thank you!RDR's adoption fees include the cost of spay/neuter/microchip at an RDR-approved facility, whether completed before adoption or if deferred because the pet is too young or has a medical issue.  All pets are also current on age-appropriate vaccines at the time of adoption. NICO is handsome at every angle! He is approximately 5.5 months old and last weighed 12 pounds (on January 25, 2025). He is a snuggler and belly-rub-lover. Whether playing or resting he is adorable. NICO is young enough to socialize with cats, kids and animals. He is smart and young enough to crate and leash-train. He already gets along with dogs. In fact, 3 of his siblings, OSO, LAYKA, and GRACE AMELIA are also available for adoption. NICO is a beautiful mixed breed dog. We think he is a Husky/Labrador combination. If you're interested in making NICO part of your family, please fill out an application on our website or send us an email with any questions. We can't wait to hear from you! Please reference "NICO #032925D."
