He’s come a long way from his tough beginnings and is learning to enjoy all the good things life has to offer, from exciting adventures to cozy afternoons under a blanket. Sebastian loves meeting people and other dogs, exploring the world, sniffing everything in sight, and chasing leaves on walks. He’d make a great adventure buddy for a family who enjoys hikes and outdoor fun but also appreciates a good couch potato day. When it’s time to relax, Sebastian is a professional snuggle bug who believes personal space is overrated! He’s also got a goofy, dramatic side that’s sure to keep you laughing. This smart boy has a mind of his own and is still working on his manners, so he’ll need a family willing to offer patience, consistency, and positive guidance. He can struggle with confinement, but he does great in the car and is learning that being independent doesn’t mean his people are going anywhere. Sebastian is full of personality, incredibly loving, and ready for a family who will meet him where he is and help him continue to grow. In return, you’ll get a loyal companion with a zest for life, a talent for making you laugh, and plenty of snuggles to share. Meet Sausage Sam! Hi! My name is Sausage Sam but my foster parents call me Sam or Moose (if you know, you know.) I am a 4 Month Old Male Husky Mix and I currently weigh 10 lbs! My foster parents found my brother (Dean Jimmy) and I playing in the road, and told us that wasn’t a safe place for us to play. They took us home, fed us, and gave us baths because mom said we were stinky.  I am a very smart boy and very curious. I like to sit and watch the world around me. I learned how to use a pee pad, go potty outside, and go to my crate when mom asks. I love to run and play with my brother and my foster siblings until I get sleepy and love to snuggle up on the couch and take a nap. Rope toys are my favorite, I love playing tug! I am very brave and will protect you from leaves squirrels ️ and Amazon drivers! I’m great with kids and other dogs. I haven’t been around cats before, but mom thinks I would be happy with any new friends to play with! I didn’t get to eat as much as I needed to before my parents got me, so I eat very quickly now and do not like to share food. I do best eating in my crate where I feel safe! I am FULLY VETTED! I am a very good and sweet boy and can’t wait for my forever family to take me home! All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.
