Story
Meet Virginia and Maine! This bonded pair came to us looking like skeletons. It was truly painful to look at them and we can only imagine the hell they lived through. Despite that, they are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. They are either siblings or mother and daughter and you never find one without the other. They are extremely bonded and they must be adopted together. They are quiet, sweet, affectionate, and great with dogs. Unless they are letting you know that they have to go out, you barely know that they are in your house. They love to snuggle and will do just about anything for a treat including come, sit & shake! Once they started feeling better it brought tears to our eyes because they started to play. You can tell that they feel good now and they are really happy. We dressed them up in Christmas jammies and they absolutely loved it. They loved the attention and they were so proud of their jammies! They pranced around the house… tails going a mile a minute… You’ve never seen anything so cute. If you’re looking for two older dogs who are very low-key and very easy apply to adopt these girls today. They are part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If they are adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor her adoption fee.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   January 31, 2026, 6:43 pm

Story
We are excited to introduce Duke, a medium-sized beautiful black, white and grey Pomsky. A pom and huskey mix. Weighing 32 pounds Duke recently joined our rescue. As he settles into his foster home, he tends to use his mouth during playtime. For this reason, we would prefer to find him a family with older children or no children at all. Duke is doing well on his daily walks and loves spending time with his foster family. He is a joyous happy playful dog. www.wonderdogsrescue.org

Story
Meet Aurora ❄️🐾 Aurora is a two-year-old small husky mix with a soft heart and a classic husky soul. She can be a little shy at first, but once she feels safe and gets to know you, she loves deeply and wholeheartedly — the kind of love that makes the wait absolutely worth it. Aurora has lived with dogs and kids, making her a wonderful candidate for a family ready to give her a little time and patience as she settles in. She’s doing much better on leash, and when it’s time to go somewhere, she jumps right into the car like a pro. True to her breed, Aurora likes to talk — offering the occasional husky commentary — but she’s also crate trained and house trained, balancing personality with great manners. Aurora is looking for a home that understands gentle beginnings and is excited for a loyal, affectionate bond to grow. If you believe the best connections take a little time, Aurora may be your perfect match. 💙🐺

Felicity does have seizures, but they are easy to manage with love and meds as needed, and they don’t affect her daily life at all. She’s ready to bring joy, cuddles, and adventure to her forever home—could it be yours?

Story
I'm a big-hearted pup with an even bigger smile-seriously, people say they can see it from across the park. I'm super sweet, endlessly loyal, and always ready to brighten your day. If you're having a rough moment, I'm the kind of guy who'll sit right next to you until everything feels better (possibly with my head on your lap). I love the simple things in life: long walks where I can sniff everything, belly rubs that go on forever, and naps in sunny spots. I'm a great listener, I never judge, and I get very excited about treats and quality time. Looking for someone who enjoys laughter, warm cuddles, and being greeted like a hero every time they come home. If you're kind, affectionate, and don't mind a little fur on your clothes, I think we'll get along just fine.
