Story
Meet Zeke!! He is up to date on shots, neutered, house trained and working on crate training. He is currently in foster with other dogs, does well on outings with slow intro to other dogs. He has only walked by cats but didn’t appear interested. He is a giant love bug who would be content to snuggle up and get belly rubs all day ! He is vocal like huskies are but not excessively, just when it’s potty time, dinner, etc. He does have a prior hip trauma that is healed as well as it will be but does not bother him. He will be microchipped at adoption.

We are excited to introduce Duke, a medium-sized beautiful black, white and grey Pomsky. A pom and huskey mix. Weighing 32 pounds Duke recently joined our rescue. As he settles into his foster home, he tends to use his mouth during playtime. For this reason, we would prefer to find him a family with older children or no children at all. Duke is doing well on his daily walks and loves spending time with his foster family. He is a joyous happy playful dog. www.wonderdogsrescue.org

Story
My name is Zeus. I am a 3.5-year-old neutered, male Siberian Husky. I was rescued in May 2023 when I was about 7 months old. The police found me tied to a tree in the park. A nice man adopted me and we have been together since May 2023. My human works 10 hours a day and I stay home alone in my crate, he has decided to re-home me to give me a better life. A husky needs exercise and we did not have a fenced-in yard, but he would walk me on the leash and take me to the park. I was spoiled with toys, and he would play with me, but I never had enough time with him before bed. I am now living with my grandma who has health issues and cannot keep me. I know most commands (sit, shake, etc.).I am potty trained and will bark twice or touch the doorknob with my nose if I want to go out. I am crate-trained, leash-trained (although when I want to go for a walk, I will get Zoomies).I am a very good dog. I have a large, heavy crate, beds, toys, bowls, leashes, etc. that will come with me.

Story
Meet Virginia and Maine! This bonded pair came to us looking like skeletons. It was truly painful to look at them and we can only imagine the hell they lived through. Despite that, they are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. They are either siblings or mother and daughter and you never find one without the other. They are extremely bonded and they must be adopted together. They are quiet, sweet, affectionate, and great with dogs. Unless they are letting you know that they have to go out, you barely know that they are in your house. They love to snuggle and will do just about anything for a treat including come, sit & shake! Once they started feeling better it brought tears to our eyes because they started to play. You can tell that they feel good now and they are really happy. We dressed them up in Christmas jammies and they absolutely loved it. They loved the attention and they were so proud of their jammies! They pranced around the house… tails going a mile a minute… You’ve never seen anything so cute. If you’re looking for two older dogs who are very low-key and very easy apply to adopt these girls today. They are part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If they are adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor her adoption fee.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   January 31, 2026, 6:43 pm
