Story
Nimbizkit (Nimbus) is a very loving, very cuddly, and energetic dog. He needs lots of play and LOTS of training. We are working with him on basic commands, leash pulling, and giving space; and he's doing well but definitely will need the one on one time to fully soak it in. Nimbus LOVES to sleep in the bed, invade your space, will lick you and beg for attention, and will follow you around the home. Great with kids and very gentle as well, we have not had any issues with biting or pushing in his time here. Though his size is apparently a mystery to him. He needs work with cats that are timid because he wants to play and will chase them, but does great with cats that stand their ground. So far he only chases and plays with other dogs, we have not witnessed any fighting behaviors. He's a grazer, and while we are working with him on counter surfing he does do it. Also, he's VERY food motivated. Nimbus does not do well with crates at all, though we are trying.

Story
Sophie Rose is the most amazing best friend your family could want. She would really enjoy a family with kids. She gets along with other dogs. She loves cats as well. There’s not a mean bone in her body. The only issue with Sophie Rose is she likes to run! Like any other husky she is a Houdini! She loves running and we’ll go for miles and miles and miles. Sophie will need a home with a strong fence. Sophie is amazing. She is friendly! Sophie has always been an inside dog so Sophie will need a family that is looking for an inside dog. Sophie doesn’t like going outside when it’s raining, but Sophie loves the snow. Sophie also can jump like straight up off of four legs! She is so much fun. Sophie does talk like a husky and congest about say I love you. Sophie has never destroyed anything in the house or eaten anyone’s shoes or toys. For a while, Sophie was going to the pet suites daycare and loved it. Unfortunately, we moved far away. She gets along great with everybody.

Story
Meet Virginia and Maine! This bonded pair came to us looking like skeletons. It was truly painful to look at them and we can only imagine the hell they lived through. Despite that, they are the sweetest dogs you will ever meet. It literally brought tears to our eyes when they felt good enough to start to play. They are either siblings or mother and daughter and you never find one without the other. They are extremely bonded and they must be adopted together. They are quiet, sweet, affectionate, and great with dogs.  They LOVE to play with each other & love toys. They are extremely treat motivated & are extremely smart. They catch treats & will sit, stay & shake for a treat! They are good in their crates but their main goal in life is to be couch potatoes. They think they are lapdogs & feel fully comfortable sitting in your lap together. They also give excellent kisses! They love attention and prance around the house… tails going a mile a minute… every time you put Jammie’s on them! You’ve never seen anything so cute. If you’re looking for two older dogs who are very low-key and very easy, apply to adopt these girls today. They are part of our Senior Soulmates Program. If they are adopted by a senior citizen, a generous donor will sponsor her adoption fee.  All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH. If you are outside of this radius, we encourage you to contact your local rescue or shelter.   March 7, 2026, 9:24 am

Story
Manhattan is a stunning 1.5-year-old Husky mix, 45 lbs with a heart as beautiful as her looks. After lovingly raising nine adorable puppies, this devoted mama is finally ready for her own happily-ever-after. Now that her job is done, it’s Manhattan’s turn to be the one spoiled with love, adventure, and plenty of relaxation. Manhattan has wonderful manners and an easygoing personality that makes her a joy to be around. She is crate trained, house trained, and rides calmly in the car, making her a great companion for road trips or daily errands. She walks well on a leash and exploring with her people. She gets along well with other dogs and does great with kids, making her a lovely addition to many types of families. Manhattan also knows how to entertain herself and is especially happy when she has a good pig ear to chew on. After being such an incredible mom, Manhattan is ready for a home where she can relax, play, and be loved for the rest of her life. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet, and beautiful companion, Manhattan might just be the perfect fit. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. Story
I go absolutely coo-coo for squeaky toys-like, zero self-control, full cartoon mode activated. If it squeaks, it's mine. I'm always on the move, always scouting my next adventure, whether that's a new trail, a car ride, or whatever exciting thing is happening two feet away. Did someone say chicken? Wait-where? I'm listening. Very closely. I'm happy, playful, and undeniably handsome (I get told this a lot, and yes, I agree). I love fun, I love exploring, and I love making people laugh just by being my goofy, joyful self. Life is short-let's play, let's roam, and let's definitely check the kitchen one more time. 🐾

Story
I'm a goofy, sweet girl who loves to have fun and make people smile. Once I start to feel comfortable, my silly side really comes out-I might zoom around, make you laugh with my playful antics, or just soak up all the love I can get. Sometimes new things make me a tiny bit unsure at first, but a little kindness and encouragement help me feel right at home. Before you know it, my tail will be wagging and I'll be showing off just how loving and playful I really am. If you're looking for a loyal best friend who's equal parts loving, playful, and wonderfully goofy, I might just be your girl. I can't wait to meet you!
