I'm a laid-back girl who's all about the simple joys in life. Give me a quiet creek to explore, and I'm in my element. I love long walks by the river where I can listen to every rustle, sniff every new scent, and just take it all in at my own pace, but I'm just as happy lounging around and taking it easy most of the day. I'm definitely very food motivated, and while toys are okay, I'd rather be out exploring or relaxing with my favorite human. One of my absolute favorite things? A good brushing session I'll melt right into it. If you're into calm vibes, nature walks, and a low-key companion who loves to chill, I think we'll get along just perfectly.

I adopted blizzard from the shelter February 2025. She is 2 years 8 months old and is the sweetest dog. She will cuddle up with you and sleep for hours. She doesn’t bark and does great with our cat. She has issues with going to the bathroom and some separation anxiety. She needs someone who will be able to put a lot of time into her. She would make a great family dog and is extremely sweet and cuddly!

Luna at Large is 2-3 years old, 55-60lbs and has a true husky zest for life. This girlie was born to run and hence her name. She’s full of husky personality and fun. Luna is gorgeous; yes. Luna is an escape artist; yes. Social - friendly - full of life. If you’re a husky family, she’ll fit right in. All of our dogs are spayed or neutered, up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, microchipped and if over 6 months of age, heartworm tested and on heartworm preventative in their foster home. We require an approved application to meet any of our dogs. We do not have a shelter location and will not arrange a meeting without an approved application. We strive to make sure the bios provided for our dogs are complete and accurate; we do understand that mistakes happen, however, so if you absolutely cannot find the answer to your question in the dog's bio, you can contact us for more information. We require a home visit for each dog we adopt out, so we adopt within a 2 hour radius of Dayton, OH.   My name is Hungry Hippo but you can call me anything you want as long as it's not late for supper! I like food, peanutbutter, treats and cheese....a lot. Maybe that's how I got my name? Or maybe it's because I have always looked like a WWE Heavy Weight? I'm not much of an action figure. Naps, cuddles and belly rubs are my top favorite things to do. I do like chew toys, being outside in the yard, and watching my brothers play tag. I'm game for whatever activity you like to do whether it's a road trip in your Hot Wheels or lounging poolside. We are excited to introduce Duke, a medium-sized beautiful black, white and grey Pomsky. A pom and huskey mix. Weighing 32 pounds Duke recently joined our rescue. As he settles into his foster home, he tends to use his mouth during playtime. For this reason, we would prefer to find him a family with older children or no children at all.
